Catchup mode with M3U lists

    Exactly. I obviously did not want to bring this up or mention the popular apps which are newer than MTVOL2 and supports M3U with catchup. I bought Z8 the moment it was released 2 years back and I could not believe it did not have a support for it. I thought it is temporary, because of the new app etc - understanding, but it's been 2 years forward and nothing.

    There are outdated providers who will also never move to newer infrastructure. Not all M3U support XC - a popular misconception among iptv community.

    Lastly there is a popular Android app with built in EPG which does not seem to have any plans into moving to MAC or XC, however they do support M3U with catchup. I know at least 3 localized providers using M3U with catchup without MAC or XC alternative...

    SAM I would appreciate your follow up on this with some urgency on stressing it to devs. I like MTVOL2 app better than all others available, so I wish I could use it more often.

    Is known and was discuss internal. When the devs. find some way that catchup can work in same way like with Stalker and XC Api, then it could come.

    The plan is not dismissed, just need more time. That`s all i can say for now.

    Catchup is nice...I like it with Fries, sometimes on a Burger, and O missing a show.

    But the record and scheduler and reminder and Kodi gives alternatives.

    This is how it goes

    You get this, this, and this, but you don't get that

    OR

    you don't get this, you don't get this, but you get THAT

    Those other programs probably wish they had this and this

    I've seen this request bounce around for a minute

    But for all the things mytv implements that we bring to the suggestion board thread

    I have brought things to the suggestion board and it's been done done done

    And

    On the actual update it list soo many things...not just one

    So they are listening

    It seems - If it can be done - they'll do it

    If it compromises the system - they don't do it

    or they'll take the time to figure it out (& put it on the back burner)

    This catch up got dust on it...LOL:grinning_squinting_face:

    At the moment this catchup is like Ketchup on a Peanut butter & Jelly sandwich...LOL:grinning_squinting_face:

    You gotta wait for the Burger main man....

    although I've seen people eat it on eggs and hash browns

    Now I want iHOP

    Record, Scheduler, Reminder and Kodi = Catchup (no mustard) :grinning_squinting_face:

    I wouldn't want it if it compromised Formulers setup mate I use an editor and with all the blocks in Europe and constant DNS changes I have to jump to other apps to access catchup I wouldn't swap MOL 1 or 2 for any other ive tried them all most are barely functional slow and look like they were designed by an angry toddler and the next contenders are a clone of Live Channels and MOL2 they just don't cut it for me anyway if it happens great if not ill pull up my big boy pants and ill keep using MOL 1&2 as they are far better performers.
