Can’t add other connections to my mylivetv

Hi all ,

I recently purchased my first box the ezbox which turned out to be z8 pro . I have a one year sub from the person I purchased it from. Whenever I want to add my current provider the z8 box, under connections I can’t find which button I will hit to let me open config to add the url, username and password. Can my box actually be hard moded from the person I bought it from and it won’t let me add anything except his own service ?

I looked but when I try to edit portal I can only change the name of the portal and EPG time zone like just name no url or anything else

hi Sam , is there a way to factory reset it to its original form ? My provider will not help me change it back because they only want me to use his service

I`m not sure if it`s possible to do on Mol2 boxes, on older Z boxes until Z7+ it is possible to remove molcfg. Fastest way would be that your provider change to standard config. At end he sold this box to you so he have not the right to leave it like it is if you not want.

Ya unfortunately I am stuck . He is not responding to me at all once I asked him how can I remove the config. I like the mol app a lot but I am forced to use something else now ugh

do u think it’s possible to delete the app and reinstall it lol ? Would that remove his old config ?

yes the box is locked . I can’t delete or edit the portal at all. It’s somehow moded to their service only. I don’t even have an option to do any of that. I never knew u can lock a box like that before lol
