Tivimate external storage

    This may be an issue on Tivimate side, but I have been unable to find a solution yet (maybe there isn't one). Just thought I'd check here if anyone has solutions. I'm using the latest version 3.6, and up-to-date on my Z8 Pro.

    I have been unable to use external storage for recording or backups on Tivimate. If I try to change the recording folder, it sees my USB, lets me browse, but when I try to set the folder, it says it failed to change folder location. Also, I tested backup function, and it failed to that location as well. MOL2 records successfully to this location. I also tried reformatting to NTFS, and using Formuler format feature, and it was the same issue each time. It only uses internal storage.

    The only reason I am trying Tivimate is that I have 2 different TV sources, antenna and a provider. I just wanted an alternate app for recording, because I am already recording some things on antenna connection. I tried Kodi before Tivimate, but that didn't have PVR for Android.

    Like song4sky I have also hit the buffers trying to resolve this problem, anybody got any suggestions as to how to make the Z8 recognise an external drive to record on. Thanks in advance

    Ok to my understanding: MOL2 uses NTFS and Tivimate uses FAT32, that's your problem. Also, recording on Tivimate is hit and miss and depends on your provider, if there is the slightest buffer the recording will stop.
