I got an issue with z8 box. After the update to 7.15.2 i have experienced lag. 25% of the channels are lagging. I convert to m3u and same channels works 100% perfect. I first tought it was my internet connection and replaced 3 routers and also went from 300mbs to 600mps but in portal mode its still lagging. Please formuler look att this or can i go back to oldd version.

Rollback is not possible and this is known. Increase your Buffer in MOL2 -> Settings-> Player options -> to 10.
-
ok but why sould it be neccesary to increase buffer when i didnt have any problem before.

Maybe because you have laggs!! I`m not sitting near you to know your network or what your provider do.
-
but you can read my first line. I didnt had this problem before the update. Why so angry?

I`m not angry, you asked and i told you one solution, but you asking instantly why? What do you expect from me, i`m not magician to know instantly what goes wrong on your side?
If laggs happen, is buffer increase the best solution to see if it helps. Other possible reasons for this: Router, Network, ISP, VPN, Provider etc. etc.
Try also Ethernet<>Wfi connects to see if it`s same or not.

So all the problem are on my side? Maybe its the new update. Is there any other complains after the update?

Freezing/lagging/buffering is caused by the factors from IPTV server instability or others that SAM told you in most of the proven cases. What Sam suggested is one of the recommended practices for similar issues. Also, try the next options.
- Try to test other IPTV service providers and check if the issue persists.
- Try to connect your device with your Mobile Hotspot and check if the issue persists.
- Disable DHCP and set a Static IP (Settings > Network Settings > IP Settings > Static) and check if there's a difference.
- Enable or Disable IPv6 option in Settings (Settings > Ipv6 option) and check if there's a difference.

I have the same lagging issues...
I know it is annoying for both the users and the Formuler team, so I am trying to give as much information as possible from my side to help solve the problem.
- I am on the very strong WIFI network (>250 Mbps), no problems with Youtube, DAZN etc.
- IPTV service works fine on PC (MyIPTV Player) and smartphone (PerfectPlayer)
- On the MOL2 Infoscreen in the upper right corner, network strenght is 3 out of 3, but the bar symbol next to it is 0 out of 3!!
- On the MOL2 Infoscreen, the net value ist constantly higher than the pic value!
- I tried with TiviMate --> lagging
- I disabled DHCP and set static IP --> lagging
- I enabled/disbled Ipv6 option --> lagging
- I set buffer to different values --> lagging
- I connected with my mobile hotspot --> NO lagging, bar symbol on MOL2 info screen is 3 out of 3!!
Edit: The speedtest on the Z8pro only shows 20,6 Mbps download!?!?!?!?

And what tells us this info?: Router issue if Wifi Hotspot works without laggs!
-
Yes, obviously. The strangs thing is however, that all devices connected to the WIFI Repeater receive the full bandwith (150-200Mbps), only at the Z8pro it is reduced to 20-25 Mbps.
Anyone with some tipps on how to investigate this situation?

Try with static ip and Cloudflare DNS Server.

I did, but no positive effect.

The speed you claim you have in wifi is just a figure, you have to understand how it works and how many things can interfere, for me it sounds like you run everything on wifi and even using a repeater which is the bootleneck. I wont explain in detail, dont have the time at the moment. You cant compare your PC with formuler box and expecting it to behave like your PC. Setting up an router and connecting an repeater to it, its not just plugging it in and beleiving it will work with the figures manufacturer says. Wifinetworks causes packet collisions and will always do whatever speed you have, the handshake has to occur before you will receive anything, if not there you have your collision and this will continue whatever you do. Briefly explained hope you get some of it, its more complex than everyone think, you are not the only one in your surroundings thar runs things on wifi.

Thank you Hexagon for you in-depth answer. I know of the special "habits" of WIFI networks, so I spent the last 3 hours to further investigate on the issue:
I directly connected the Z8 pro to my router (not the repeater!!!) with ethernet cable. Even if it might not be that all important, I want to say that the speedtest on the Z8 showed full speed (>250Mbps) and 0,0% packet loss. Unfortunatley, the problem with lagging in MOL2 still occurs!!
Saying that, I see 3 possible reasons:
-) (Hardware) problem with router (from my network provider)?
-) Problem with "network quality" outside my house?
-) (Hardware) problem with my Z8 box
To be honest, finding the solution has turned into a kind of personal challenge for me. I have ordered a new Z10 pro box to see if the problem still occurs on that device.

Test with:
- Buffer 10 in MOL2
- Other Provider with 24h trial sub.

I have written about in another thread, change your provider router, they are made for you with limited access of its content. Really, if not impossible to setup for best speed and stability, even the cheapest router from Asus is better.

Update about my issue:
Definitely some problem with my home network. Experienced a strange behaviour yesterday. As soon as I turned off my PC in my working room, IPTV runs smooth. Couldn't reproduce this, but seems like a big surprise that network speeds up right in the moment, I shut my PC down.
Will further investigate on this!!
