Recording and watching another channel at the same time bug

I do not know if this has been reported before,

The problem is when recording and watching another channel at the same time through 2 connections, if I change channel when the show is being recorded on the other channel, the recording stops and I get only like 5 min out of 1 hour show. So basically the Z10 does not really record while watching another channel. However my Z8 is not affected at all by this behaviour since I can change channel anytime while recording on another channel...

Does the PiP works in full with your existing sub.(XC Api Portal) and two connections, also same sub, on z8 box deactivated if same sub in use on z10 box? How ever, will try to reproduce the issue and come back to you.

When I do the test, Z8 and Z10 Pro Max, only one box is connected at a time. (I unplug power adapter)

This is done with the same sub...and yes pip works great with my sub.

Have you got this working? I've recently switched to formuler and when I watch a different channel the recording drops after about 10 secs. Even though the recording icon remains in the corner.

Never had an issue with this on my zgemma but can't seem to get this to work at all.

This issue has been fixed.

Please make sure to update the software to the latest version and try again.

Hi I am on the latest build and it seems to me that this issue is still around. I can not view and record at the same time. The error message is 'warning no recording'

There is no bug with two lines , just tested and it works fine. PiP and watching one or recording other works like it should.

Check if your PiP works and watching other channel, if not, something is wrong with your second line.

Just wondering if this has been fixed. I was able to watch and record a different show at the same time, but since the latest update I get the ‘Warning now recording’ message if I try to change channels while recording, so I can’t change the channel unless I stop recording.

Yes it has been fixed. If not then something is wrong with your subscription. You truly need 2 connections. It was answered by Sam one post above yours 😳
