4K broadcast or not? How to tell?

I have a good 300Mbps internet connection via an Ethernet cable.

What is the easiest way to check to see if my IPTV provider really is broadcasting in 4K? When I use the information button it displays 1920*1080i

I have a brand new 4K LG TV

4K icon should appear.

I wondered the same thing. I followed a suggestion to look in VOD for some 4K content.

Interestingly, not all shows labeled 4K are .. but the ones that are, will give you a choice as to what format you want to use. HD or 4K

The other way I can tell is by seeing an absolutely spectacular picture that is in a letter box format. I was blown away!
