I have bought an X
10 ProMax and on installing am greeted with message your unit BLOCK or very similar. The unit then automatically shuts off. No matter what I try I cannot get my box to function. How do I progress? Any help grateful received.

Sorry. Have disconnected the box. And am unable to photograph. Am 80 and confined to wheelchair so this sort of thing is rather complicated for me. From memory the code was 000015xxx.I really wonder if I have been sold a stolen items?
Unfortunately you will need to provide them some information to be able to help you.
Now if it's portal blocked, then you need someone near you to know what the purpose of these boxes are for and to help you.
If you cant use the box and 80 years old, I would get a refund from where you purchased and not bother to be honest.
However if you're based in UK and purchased a z10 Pro Max from a person or ebay then a recent batch was stolen from World of Sat (UK formuler distro) so if it was that that then serial numbers are logged, so it's always worth checking, but I am inclined to think maybe it's user error though. -
So best to layout things like
1. What is the exact model, i.e Formuler z10 Pro Max?
2. Where did you purchase?
3. What is the exact message that comes up, how does the screen look?
and such like. -

Hi, thought I'd try and help out terrynaqi here. I'm in exactly the same position. Bought a Z10 Pro Max from Ebay from what appeared to be a reputable seller (99%).
Box boots up for around 15 seconds then a pop up 'This Device Is Block' and immediate shut down.
I contacted https://www.linuxsat-support.com/thread/153825-…ing-sold-cheap/ ( not that cheap by the way) sent them a photo of the details on the bottom of the box and they confirmed it was part of the stolen batch, said I should claim a refund asap. Contacted Ebay and they immediately refunded the cost.
I suspect terrynaqi is in the same position and probably quite a few others.

Yes, stolen devices are instantly not operable and show the picture like on screenshot. Would be nice to know from which seller this boxes comes and to forward the sn. no to Formuler.
