I've bought a Z10 Pro Max on ebay a few days back, stating New, never used.
When openening the box, it was indeed still sealed, and everything was new.
The problem happened when I connected the box to the Internet!
After a few seconds of being Online, it keeps shutting down with the message
"This device is Block"
With my serial number, and then shuts down after 5 seconds...
Anyone got any thoughts on this? 
Proceed your data from label to Formuler through Support Ticket for check.
Good possible that the box is stolen and deactivated .
On Ebay be always careful, except it is known seller and have shop too.
Hi, sorry for bumping an old thread but I have this exact problem, but not from ebay but from CEX. Did you manage to get it resolved or did you have to return it?

If your device is blocked and you see same error message like on picture in first post, return the box to seller and let him know that this box is blocked, he should know why! If not, he should contact Formuler.

I have the same issue, ("This device is block!"), but it just started in the last week. It's a Z10 Pro Max and it has been in use since November 2022, and it worked until last Sunday (February 12, 2023). I bought it on Amazon U.S. and the return window has closed - I cannot return it. What should I do?
You can create a ticket for the Formuler Helpdesk,describing exactly your problem, and let Formuler give you an adequate answer.
