how do you do a backup on USB before updating please

How to adjust the aspect ratio on this box? Some of the channels are filling the screen and making the picture distorted. Since it is HDMI, the TV does not allow any changes to the picture.

Same question as EJ, i downloaded the z11 update before it was announced by SAM,So how does making an update on USB work?

To backup your system first simply open Mytvonline3

Press menu button

From the drop-down menu select Settings

Scroll to locate Backup & Restore

Select Backup

Done.

Go to Settings

Select Display & Sound

Select position and zoom out

You don’t make an update on USB

It is recommended to backup your system first before applying the update.

This is incase something goes wrong, you can revert back to the original best working state of your device.

Much better than having to do a complete hard reset.

So in short, backup and then update

I meant backup to USB, however i already downloaded the update,before it was officially announced,so can i still make that backup?

You need to have a USB inserted for the backup option anyway, it doesn’t backup internally.

You can backup anytime

Of course you can do it when ever you want and you should do it each time before you update and after that too (with changed code /settings data). It`s obvious why backup is important.

I am glad i followed your advice,to back up on a USB stick anytime (before or after the update),because at a certain point i had to turn of in safe mode,with as result mol3 being absent in the home screen.I had to use the restore function to get mol3 going again,so thx again for your comments!

Would it be possible to have the choice of font size for the EPG on the screen ? I could use more information on the screen if the font size was smaller. Let me know if there is a setup that I missed somewhere ? I've looked and cannot find any adjustable Font Size.
