Is backup restore from Z8 to Z11 possible?

Hi Team

I'm looking for some advice please, I've been looking on the forum and I don't think its possible but can someone confirm for me please. I have a Z8 with MyTvonline-2 and am considering purchasing a Z11, I have successfully backed up the data of the Z8 to a storage device. Can you confirm if it is possible to restore the backup from the Z8 and install to the Z11 please.

Hello,

Sorry but this is not possible. Different OS, different code in MOL and the way of backup and restore.

Z8 use full backup method and saves entire OS including apps and settings from the box.

Z11 use MOL3 backup method (Content Manager/Settings/Live TV, VOD, TV Series DB (Locked channel, Favorite group, Channel History)
