    I have an issue with my Formuler Z8 box, it won’t connect using My TV online 2, but if I use STB emulator then it connects fine, one of my customers had a similar issue I told the supplier and he got back to me saying he had fixed it but he also asked for the serial number of the box and when I asked him what the issue was he said it locks on box and serial to prevent being used else where but he has not got back to me on my issue, I just can’t understand how I can connect on STB emulator but can’t connect on my tv online, I’m connecting using the portal address supplied by the supplier any help would be good thanks.

  • Thanks for the info, if I sell the box will the buyer get the same error on the Mac I’d not loading on my tv online 2, the whole point of buying this box was to use that interface , so it’s up to my supplier to unblock the Mac I’d is that correct thanks.

    If you want to use your MAC/ID conn. with same supplier, then yes, he need to unblock/refresh your MAC subscription.

    If you sell the box and other user use other Provider, then is no need to do anything.

    Thanks for the info so I just got a new box delivered today Z11 Pro thought great all problems solved, set up everything in mytvonline 3

    And can’t connect get the error message 1012 at first I tried using the 00 1A 79 but read that the MAC address to use is the one that starts 00 1E B8 all set up right on portal address just don’t know what the issue is any help getting me connected would be great we’ll pead off thanks all

  • Ask your Provider for XCApi connection (username and password),is preferred over MAC connection,because of more possiblities(quote SAM)

  • Thanks for the info all I am reseller portal is XC API the same as xstreamtv I can create trials for that on my portal gives me options of line one I can’t mention. or xstreamtv i have created some and. Used portal address and the login and password info generated but it still does not connect or is that something else thanks

  • OK,go to mytvonline3 menu ->Content Sources-. add Portal->fill in URL,User id and password(that was given to you from Provider) and save (connect)

Your patience, to my knowledge I don’t have a user name and password, when had my z8 which I sill have I only ever put in the portal address the one I give to my customers ends /c/ works for everyone but then for some reason I could not login to the Z8 box i was being blocked and could not resolve with supplier so I thought would buy new. Z11 box new Mac all would be ok but now have 2 boxes and can’t use the mytvonline app which was the main reason I bought the boxes for. So now I have theZ11 I answer to the above I’ve created a test on the portal I have on xstream yes it has user name and password, the portal address I’m using is the same one I had before I know it’s ok as my other customer are logged I I can see on the portal when I login seems im the only one with 2 boxes that can’t connect when you say add user name and password from provider is that the user name and password generated on the test from xstreamtv as I have never had anything always just logged in with the portal address he gave me thanks for all your help hopefully I will get there in the end.

  • Hi jumping rabbit thanks yes I changed the Mac in the reseller portal I have to match the new one on the z11 but would not connect error thinking of giving up now bought the box for the new mytvonline3 portal so to but STB emulator on the box and use that would defeat the object of buying the box I’m really disappointed been at it now for 5 hours and getting no where would pay someone to chat to me on the phone to try and sort it out

  • Hi,CO,there is another possibilty that you can use and thats to create a ticket on the chatbox of the formuler helpdesk-orange,on the right side of the Helpdesk page.

    You have to go true a serie of questions and explain your issue,clearly and where it goes wrong,andyou will receive an answer from formuler Staff in about 1-4 days.

    I tried it myself and got an answer in 2days.

    Another possibilty is to use the shoutbox on the forum page,however i think your issue is to complicated for this option.

    Good luck and dont give up to soon,asthe Z11 and mol3 are worth it!

  • Hi all and thanks for your help managed to sort this, the original block happens on the Z8 so as I said bought the new Z11 I changed the MAC address in the portal as I’m a reseller so I can do this, but as I said it would not connect. So I changed the last 2 digits and created a new test Mac line with the new Mac on the Z11 which connected straight away so it would appear the issue all the time was the Mac on the portal had developed a fault, I have asked the supplier to remove it and credit what’s left onto the new test line Ihave created thanks for help everyone
