  • From a live TV channel I press the green button or OK-down to get to the search menu. I enter something to search for and look at the results under TV Program. I can click on some and set up a recording as usual. But others do absolutely nothing when I press OK. I don't think this is a provider issue as it has happened on four different providers. And it is not shows that are in the past, these are shows for tomorrow or later.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

  • Thanks for the quick response! The date and time are set from the network and are correct when looking at Date and Time under Device Preferences.

It is now 10:36 AM Wednesday March 22. The first in the search results is for UK TLC (I am in Canada) Mar 21 5PM. OK, that is interesting I have shows from yesterday appearing in the search results for 23-03-22. I did not expect that. I can see why that won't record. Why does it show up like that.

The rest of the shows that won't record have already been aired.

OK, I understand what is happening now. Thank you. :crossed_fingers:

  • The first row of the search results are the events that are "Now Playing"

If you scroll UP from the first row you can access past days events and press OK if the channel supports catch-up.

The row below "Now Playing" are relevant search results for the entire day.

Unsolicited PMs for support will be ignored.

Duplicate support requests to the forums and helpdesk will be ignored.

  • I think there is a slight logic bug here, or an area for UI improvement. The Now Playing list shows items where date = "today" AND startTime < "now". It should only contain shows where date = "today" AND startTime < "now" endTime > "now". If the show has already finished, it could appear in a row above Now Playing with date = "today" AND endTime < "now". This would matching showing programs that have not started yet (date = "today" AND startTime > "now") in a row labeled with the date below the Now Playing row.

I will put that in the Features Request thread.
