    So, I dropped my Formuler Bluetooth remote and bounced it off the corner of a table onto the floor. I'm not sure exactly what happened but the Z11 was fine after a reboot. The remote seems to have lost its Bluetooth-ness. I still pairs with the Z11 but only acts in an IR manner i.e. line of sight only. I have tried holding the TV/STB button for 3 seconds to switch modes. It does switch back and forth from TV to Formuler remote but just doesn't seem to transmit BT anymore. Is there a way to reset it somehow? Or have I just busted it by dropping it?

    If you are using the official Formuler BT1 remote:

    1. Buy the Silicone bumper cover for your Formuler BT1 remote.
    2. Inspect the exterior of your BT1 for damage.
      If the exterior plastic case has split open in some places, it could affect button presses from being recognized.
      If the case is split open along the parting line, press the case back together so it locks back into place.
    3. Unpair the remote from your Z11.
      Android Settings > Remotes & Accessories > Select Formuler RCU > Unpair
    4. Remove the batteries from your Formuler remote for 1 minute. After that, re-insert the batteries.
      Verify that the light on the head of the remote flashes orange (STB mode) when you press the buttons on the remote and check to see that your Formuler is responding to the IR commands
    5. Re-pair your BT1 with your Z11
      Android Settings > Remotes & Accessories > Add Accessory
      Put your BT1 into pairing mode by pressing and holding the OK+MENU buttons together until the white light starts flashing on the head of the remote
      Select the Formuler RCU from the list of detected bluetooth devices and wait for the pairing to be complete.

    If the above doesn't work, share details on which step failed and share pics/video if necessary.

    Well, I swear on a stack of bibles that I did exactly those steps prior to posting. Perhaps I didn't pull the batteries for long enough. Regardless, I followed your steps and all is well with the remote again.

    The original behaviour after dropping the remote was fascinating but unimportant in the grand scheme of things. It behaved as if the remote was sending repeated power commands. I think the overarching message is to NOT DROP THE REMOTE ON A HARD SURFACE! Or get the silicone bumper cover :smiling_face:
