I know this has been asked before but re-posting as old threads are closed.
Is there any update on implementing backup/restore functionality in Z10 and MYTVOnline 2?
I need to copy all settings and channel grouping etc. to a new box.

hello,
The quote from sam is from 2021.
Its now 2023 and 2 years further so dont think its coming to z10 anymore.
sam said "not integreted YET".
but i think its not gonna happen anymore because its been 2 years now.
Is not integrated yet on Z10 Pro Max.
Maby he answer also with better news for you.
I was checking because Formuler has it in Z11/MyTVONL 3. So they've worked thru whatever technical limitations they faced in OS 10.
So, why not upgrade Z10?

I have a formuler gtv, and also there backup.
only on my z8 i have backup option.
Maby have SAM better news for you tomorrow.
Sorry to say but it was not implemented and will not come because of limitations from OS10 and newer. OS7 was open and you was able to backup entire box. With programming MOL3 the devs was able to implement directly Backup&restore function but only for the MOL3 app and not the entire system.
Don`t know why google goes this way and implement so much restrictions in OS, some are understandable but all other not ![]()
Sam, Thanks for the update. I was hoping for better news but it is what it is!
