Do you mean by random connection drops the error messages "a network error has occured" or "check your internet connection",as these errors are currently investigated in a pm group,you otherwise could be added too?

I see. I do get the same without the VPN unfortunately. Maybe not so often but still happens.
Try to change your dns server to cloudflare and give your box static ip + restart your router. If same happens, recheck your sub with other iptv app like Tivimate.
Btw. you didn`t say which protocol is in use.

Asking provider to delete mac and register (refresh) again could help. Change to XC API will definitely solve the issue if the issue is not the provider himself.
Now, for anyone with error codes, freezes, looping with live tv etc...
I now have limited bandwidth on switchport of z11 to 100000 kbps (100Mb) as i was experiencing same with a kamai box on a fiber connection, for now it stays stable on z11... Also i enabled stormcontrol on max 100000 (100Mb) to eliminate an overflow on multicast, broadcast/ unicast packets.... Will let now in a while if it keeps this way...

So, i have a tplink switch behind my provider modem/ router that has option to reduce bandwidth and enable storm control...
First i used it for igmp snooping for provider tv box, but i have 1gb fiber, i noticed allready wit full speed on tv port, tv receiver had problems, then came my formuler z11, with a few weeks of problems with looping, errors etc. So early today i reduced bandwidth on formuler port and looks good for now.... So maybe you have a option to reduce bandwidth speed on your router... Else a 5 port switch will do, make shure you buy a igmp, managed switch, always good in future... 👍

Register mac id in your router/ modem under security, also your phone or pc mac adres, else you will be locked out to doing the settings, and static ip, will see how to make screenshots and upload to my drive.... Will reply again tommorow or sow with link for you

Check settings for cec hdmi, only check auto off formuler if you turn off TV
Check energie settings, power off sleep

Also set your mac ip to static!
Put the formuler z11 in isolated wifi guest network and register mac in router on fixed ip and freezing and drops are all over!

I did the beta .8 update last night to solve the issue and it held for one day and is now dropping out of live tv back to main menu. i am hardwired ethernet at 350 mgs and don't use a VPN. i have a Formuler z11 Pro in another room with no issues. please advise. Thanks

Let me know how often this happens. Please also let me know if the same issue happens when you play Youtube videos or other streaming apps with your device.

I'm also having the same issue, it happens when I hit the arrow button to go back to last channel I watched. I'm using the Z11 Pro Max with the latest Beta update.
Same problem here. Only had the Z11Pro Max for a week. It drops out of live tv back to main menu. It happens too often. About ready to return it.
Is there a fix?
I did a factory reset from the main menu and loaded all my providers and did NOT add the latest beta software. Everything is running smoothly now. Hope this helps. and yes, when I was having the afore mentioned issue, channel changing was also causing the loss of provider stream- reverting back to the Home Screen.
Maybe it can help Staff finding a fix. I also had this issue last week, and managed to fix it. The issue was caused because there where channels changed from the provider listing. I’d made a favorite list of channels and a couple of them weren’t in the provider list, whenever I changed channel inside this list (with unknown channels) MOL3 closed to the Formuler Home Screen. After removing these unknown channels and adding others, MOL was working as expected.
New firmware update. Seems to be holding for me.
