hi ive got z8 box, ive downloaded the latest unlocked version of iptv smarters v4.0...ive put the .apk on a usb stick but it wont install on my formuler z8 ? it says "App not installed - This app isnt compatible with your tv" but im not installing it on tv, i want to install on my formuler z8 ?

Is there some reason you don't want to use Formuler's MyTVOnline 2 that comes installed with the Z8? I used different flavors of smarters in the past, and found they all lacked a lot of features I love with my old customized Kodi TV guide addon. If your provider gives you URLs for M3U and xmltv data, why not plug them into the Z8's portal settings and enjoy its native EPG. I dropped smarters pretty quickly after I set up my Z8 and never looked back. I'm just getting Kodi set up again to use its searchable EPG that's about the only thing I miss that MTVO-2 lacks.

yes dont like it prefer iptv smarters...my providers gives me server address, username and password....no url
I had a similar problem with my box once. The issue is that your downloaded IPTV Smarters app version isn't suitable for your Formuler Z8. Sometimes, the newest versions don't work well with specific devices, especially if they're not official. I looked for an older version of the app that was okay for my device. Try a few different ones from trustworthy websites until you find one that works.
By the way, I switched to xxxxxx myself. It costs me 15 euros a month, and I got a yearly deal for 99 euros. It's great because I get tons of channels and movies of excellent quality. It's easy to use on different devices, and I can watch stuff anywhere. This change fixed my streaming problems.
