Question about moving favourites etc to new box

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows if your favourites (channels, vod etc), groups etc are saved on the box or in your profile? Currently have a Z8 and will be upgrading so it would be easier if everything can be moved over to new box by saving and restoring or automatically when service is moved to new mac/device.

Only other way and the long way would be to take a pic of everything and set them back up on the new box but that seems very tedious especially if you have tons of favourites saved.

Edit: reason why I have doubt is because I once hard reset the Z8 and my fav's were still there if i remember correctly.

The Z8 use System Backup, means entire partition will be saved including OS, MOL2 and Settings, Apps etc.

Be sure on your current and other Box is same Firmware and Software installed to have guarantee of working restore.

Thanks Sam. So that will not work I guess since the new box is the Z11.
