How to format Micro SD card, USB flash drive, pen drive, hard drive or SSD for use with Z and S Boxes.
If you format your recording device (in most cases SD Card or USB Stick) with your OS and experience strange behaviour on your Box, recordings are not finished or not saved on the recording device, then could unsuccessful or wrong formatting be the reason for this issue.
Formuler Boxes support following format:- FAT32
- NTFS
- exFAT

But I need to connect the external drive to the computer? Not possible to transfer directly from disk?

I have an external drive on the Formuler.

good. Taket out external drive from formuler box and connect to pc or mac. The open mapp called android then mol3 something and recordings. Then copy to pc/mac

You need a network attached drive (or a NAS) to do what you are asking. The network drive (or NAS) can be accessed by both the Z11 and your compouter.

I used File Commander app. It worked well. You can brows the forumuler box from your windows PC using an IP address File Commander gives you.

You can also mount a network storage from the main page. I have a shared folder on my windows PC and point hte formuler to this.
On my z8 we have a native File Explorer that has LAN, USB, Network and i think UpNp options when you first open it up. I dont see this app on the Z11 market, or the google play store, so i went with File Commander on the Z11.I bet through Kodi, or another app, you can setup up FTP
