I think you guys are missing afoldal 's point of his post. Yes, you are correct that you don't need to run Audio Optimizer on Z12, BUT he is showing that it does not do anything on the Z10 or Z11 as well.
That was my question to him...

I don’t agree with afoldal because on Z11 Pro Max when starting a VOD with DD 5.1+ soundtrack (eg. Yellowstone) the Audio Optimizer app will pop up automatically and prompt to be installed.
Of course only when Advanced Sound settings are enabled (for instance when using a receiver). -

Of you ignore that sound codec to download, it never come back. That's why they developped audio optimizer app.
some people igonored to download the codec. And only comes back when you remove mol and reinstall it.
But the simpliest way is to download audio Optimizer cause some people don't know what a codec is. Then they ask on forum that they have nl sound at some channels and or vod/series.
There is audio optimizer for.
