Is Z11 compatible with QMS = Quick Media Switching if it's software is upgraded or not
I hope it's not a hardware limitation
I know LG 2023 line up C3 G3... and later have this feature
Thanks

yes and no, chipset depended. If chipset manufacturer brings fix, fw support for this it could also be possible on z11.

For now not possible. Only Z mini have QMS, supported through new chipset.

Bummer, you mean RTD1319C Chipset
Hopefully they will although I think it's unlikely
Mini use RealTek RTD1325, Z11 - Realtek RTD1319C.
lailanis For QMS you need HDMI 2.1 and at least Android 12 plus a compatible TV. Not sure if Z11 has HDMI 2.1 port and it's only Android 11 even knowing it's upgradable to Android 12.

Seems like you're right. QMS needs HDMI 2.1 ports, z11 pro max has only HDMI 2.0 port so it's not possible even if software is upgraded to Android 12.
Hardware limitation I'm afraid
If you're sure Z11 has HDMI 2.0 port only then it's a limitation for QMS. I don't think it's a SOC limitation given both (RTD1325 and RTD1319c) use the same GPU, the only reason why you can't have QMS is because Z11 boxes probably don't have an HDMI 2.1 port. RTD1319 and RTD1319c are compatible with HDMI 2.1, it's in their specifications.

I'm not sure, I couldn't find any specs regarding which HDMI port the z11 pro max has on the website until I saw SAM post here
Weird thing the formuler GTV which is older than z11 pro max I believe (isn't it?) has HDMI 2.1
Formuler GTV is Android Tv and oriented for streaming services so it makes sense to have the highest HDMI port version available at the time which was HDMI 2.1, still for QMS to work it needs HDMI 2.1b LOL which was released in 2023 and GTV was released in 2020, so unless they made new GTVs with the new HDMI 2.1b port i doubt it can do QMS. Zmini has HDMI 2.1b port and the next formuler devices will have it too, until then if you want to experience QMS on MOL3 you have to buy Zmini. Even Z11 at the time of release couldn't have HDMI 2.1b port because this HDMI port revision was released on August 2023, almost a year after Z11 release date.
Not quite sure it was just released 8/2023. LG 2023 TV line up normally starts being sold in 3/2023 and already came in with QMS
My gut is telling me it's dead cause for z11, formuler will have another reason to release another z12 and have it with Android 12 and QMS.
It can be that, but i think in this case that's not their fault as Z11 began production mid 2022, no way HDMI 2.1b was available at that time.
