  • In a old post it was described that as far as speed goes, satellite is the fastest followed by cable and in last place IPTV.

Can someone explain to me why the UK stream of the EC football final (same stream?) is faster then the stream on Dutch channels?

I expect them to be similar, why is this not the case?

  • Ask your provider.
This has nothing to do with formuler boxes.

    The fastest signal is satellite.
When your provider puts satellite signal into iptv

Then i can be 20 sec (best case) i think.

even on satellite i see a difference of 5 seconds between austria and german channel.

  • You are probably right as my UK channel is about 15-20 seconds ahead of Dutch channel,so i suspect the uk signal originates from satellite, whereas the Dutch channel must be regular iptv stream:thumbs_up:

  • Signals from tv were first recorded at providers side.

    15 - 30 seconds. Maby more sometimes!

After that recording they send it over the internet (iptv) to costumers and normally you shouldn't have any buffer cause its recorded first for seconds...

Kpn tv via there original tv box is also iptv.

When i watched it together with ziggo (copper cable) was ziggo faster and kpn tv 15 second later.
