  • Hi,

I recently added a provider to my z11promax,and i noted that there is a significant volume level between the both.

Is there a way to equalise these volume levels, via a setting on the box,or should i contact one of the providers to either increase or decrease the volume output that goes with the stream?

For obvious reasons there is no problem with either VOD or tv-series.

    Any suggestion is welcome:hand_with_fingers_splayed:

  • Search on your TV in settings for option like volume balance or similar and test it.

I looked into tv settings (Sony Bravia XK85) and its already set:Advanced automatic volume:auto

Other settings like ;Equalizer did not improve difference in volume per provider issue.

In general i dont think that i can solve the issue in tv settings,as i lean more to the post#3 by Lucky133,that it is provider dependent, and therefore unrelated to a setting in tv,as these settings are the same for both providers?

  • I even have this within one provider.
For instance I have same channel in HD, 4k and 8K, and sound level is different for all of them.
To my opinion the sound level comes with the differnt streams and therfore can be different.

    No solution for it

    Hi,Ronaldjan,

I have a significant difference in soundlevels between both providers of approx. 15-25% on all channels, within the same provider its less noticable.

As it cannot be resolved in tv-settings,i was wondering if i disable one provider, and go into Sound/Display options of the box,i might be able to reduce the volume output in the enabled provider. However i need further guidance before i try to do so:fearful_face:

Yes, I also experience a significant difference in volume of the sound.

It is the same provider, but different stream for the same channel.

As an example, the sound level of RTL4 8K, is almost 30% lower than RTL4 4K.
