Hello, I’ve recently installed Proton VPN and I need to switch it back on every morning. My old vpn Nord used to stay on but proton doesn’t. Any ideas to keep it on? Thanks

That sounds like a settings issue or a limitation of Proton VPN. Have you enabled the option for a permanent connection or the kill switch? Some VPNs automatically disconnect when they detect idle time or a network change.

I tested a while ago Super VPN for a short while and it worked well. Now using Nord and very pleased, they have actions now and then.

But NordVPN is messing with Thunderbird on my computers.
That's why I'm wondering if there are any other good alternatives.
Maybe best to continue with paid VPN but something other than NordVPN? -

I know vpns like surfshark, expressvpn and pia vpn.
Please do a research on google my friend.
Search for best vpn 2024 and best vpn 2025 or so.
