In addition to M2 IPad Pro working, I also have it working without issue on IPhone 16Pro Max on iOS 18.3 Beta but it has been working OK since launch for me.
I assume you may not be using iOS BETA and currently on 18.2 general release?
Maybe a temporary compatibility issue on some devices / software?

Formuler Home Screen
Settings > Device Preferences > Factory Reset -
Portal works fine for me, have two separate accounts that work and load. I have the same issue “an error occurred:-1” on both accounts. What’s weird is that it’s not happening with everything. It’s happening with channels and all of VOD content but there are channels that are working as well. Seems very arbitrary. Also tested it on different iOS devices and the issue replicated. No such issue on an s24 ultra/android. I wonder if this has to do with a codec? Any help/suggestions?
It seems it is likely a codec issue in that your iPad doesn’t have the codecs required.
I’m unsure what version of iPadOS that you’re using but it seems consistent with codec.
I use IPad Pro M2 type and it works without any issues.
You might be restricted in this case because you can’t directly update codecs on Apple products, you’d need to use third party players such as VLC but I don’t believe you can select a player on Apple versions of MTOL+Maybe Formuler can confirm if this is codec or something else.

Confident there wouldn’t be a technical reason why not, it’s likely restricted purposely because Formuler provide TV boxes with Mytvonline baked in.
If you don’t have one of their TV boxes…. Get one alongside the mobile app… outstanding! Mytvonline on a TV screen is untouchable.

About a 7/10 days ago I noticed I have no info on channels when I scroll thru. If I go into the main EPG it's all blank.
If I bring up the scroll bar when watching a channel and press right, into that EPG I have a list of what's coming on for the rest of the day for that channel. This makes me think it's not a provider problem but I'm not sure.
Is this an issue or is it a setting that somehow got changed?

I’d clear your epg and refresh it. To do so follow this path:
On any Live channel press menu button on RCU (3 lines) > content manager > data sync > epg
Select relevant options and then go back to live tv channel and wait a couple of minutes to populate. Then press guide button and info should appear -
Make sure that when you power off the box when you’re finished using it you don’t put it in standby and then full power off.
If you do that, when you power back on, the box will boot but will return to last state which will be standby.
If you’ve ruled out the above being the issue. Clear cache and data and as Henkie suggested, uninstall and reinstall the app.
Still if the problem persists, hard restet and start from scratch would be the easiest solution. -
Evening all.
Quick post because I’m sure in the past some have sideloaded APKs on their Formuler which are meant for mobile and therefore sometimes resizing is an issue.I haven’t seen any posts dealing with this but I think I’ve found a solution. The following works for me at least.
In Developer Options, if you enable “Force activities to be resizeable” it seems to automatically resize the screen.I tested on various apps and although you have the mobile view at the login page, once you’re past that, it resizes to full screen.
Now, there is supposed to be an indicator allowing “multi-window” which is an icon you’re looking for generally on Android but I think that must be specific to Android Mobile and Tablets because it doesn’t appear on the Formuler.
Anyway, for me it seems to work. I was only testing it out and I have no relatable apps to consider using on the device for myself but thought I would try and help those who asked in the past.
I can’t guarantee this will work for you but it certainly does for me on the apps I tried.
It may also be you’ll need to enable your mouse on the remote using the Formuler Remote app and assigning it to a hot key.Good luck.

Just did a factory reset and now there is no live tv or VOD selection on the menu. Only game day then recordings

Open menu within mtol3 (3lines on rcu)
Go to content manager
Go to content sources and see your subscription and select refresh.
If you see an ⚠️ against your sub you may need to edit it as if you’re inputting again and save and see what that does. -
A few days ago,when searching for Broadcasters for a game,it showed a half non-spinning circle,and the search seemed to be faster.
Now its back to full spinning circle and it takes longer for the Broad casters to be found.
Has anyone else noticed this?
In addition can someone explain how the Gameday Feature works in general terms?
For instance what sites are used to do the search for game and Broadcasting channels?
I haven’t noticed what you described but I did notice that the list for channels isn’t a comprehensive one. I say that because a game was on and the channels showing weren’t available to me but a quick search on liveonsat showed the additional channels where the game could be found and as such I followed that successfully.
In reference to your question on how it all works, I believe Sam mentioned some time ago that the sources or algorithm wouldn’t be revealed so i expect the stance will remain, which is understandable given then effort they’re going through to make this a great feature. Which it is that’s for sure.

I’ve noticed an issue the past few weeks where some VOD / Series content won’t load, just spinning circle but no error notification.
Tried on other apps and works fine.
Decided to test this morning because same issue appears so I installed MX Player Pro and sure enough the show loaded without issue.
I did consider it could be a codec issue but Audio Optimiser has been ran and no change.
Only started with latest updates of MTOL3 so hopefully Itl be a quick resolve.

Only have had Formuler stb for about a month.
Would really like to have the functionality where changing provider's portal doesn't erase favorites.
This has been covered many times.
I’d expect your request is not possible given that you are essentially creating a new connection because the url has changed.
How is the device to know if that dns is related to the same service to retain that data?
Your whole subscription completely refreshes when you change url.
Remember, a provider changes a url if its been compromised or a general change due to their security practices. -

For the game you mentioned, If you select TNT sports in that list, it will open TNT Sports because there is something showing 24/7, of course assuming you have TNT sports with your subscription

Than please explain to me how the search for channels is done?
You open game day and select schedule.
Then select day and if a game is showing it will show them.
then select a game for the channels to appear.
From there I believe it is highlighting all channels the game will be available on but not exclusive to your subscription.
From there you cycle through to a channel that is on your service and select it to play.
If the channel selected doesn’t work for you when pressed, it’s possible it isn’t in your subscription and therefore select another.
I tested the feature today and was flawless -
if you press schedule within game day it will bring up the calendar.
you need to cycle through the days to see if there’s any games on.
it would be good for an indicator to be present within the day to show that there’s a schedule so you can go straight to it.
At present you need to cycle through unless you know there’s games on a certain day.Once you know that you can select the day and data will appear.
so all that’s missing in schedule is an indicator on the calendar?
Hopefully that’s a good enough explanation but if not please cycle through and you’ll see what I mean -

Surely there’s one on the horizon, it’s been a few years.
Confident that Formuler won’t stick with AOSP for all their devices so we need a new Android TV box with the absolute beast that’s MTOL3

After beta update is the vpn key icon gone.
Normally the "key icon" appears under the time in right corner. But its gone now.
I uninstalled nordvpn and installed it again. But still the same.
More users have this?

Great innovative feature.
Providers would be keen on this especially because some create the lists and put them in the channel bouquets and takes a lot of time and effort. Sometimes if they rip them from elsewhere the providers don’t always keep up week by week.
By Formuler doing this it takes away from the provider and having the option in the menu system is great to finding it easily.
Maybe in the future, although possibly complex, if your team is playing and you select the badge it reads your channel listings and shows the channels the game can be watched and then simply select said channel.
As I said, it could be complex as provider lists can be different but most have the same channels available so possibly can be done.
Maybe also link to the the PIP feature so you can have live stats on a small screen whilst the game on big screen?
Excellent starting point though. Tested it myself this morning and works great.

I guess it sees it as a new connection / new provider added and that’s why it doesn’t retain the old favourites etc.
I’d be inclined to say it’s low down Formulers priority list with everything else they’re working on.
That being said, it could just be considered part and parcel of IPTV in that sometimes not everything works as each individual user would like. Remember we cant expect the earth when paying pennies. Figuratively speaking.
Formuler do a great job as it is. I’m sure if this becomes a focus it will get the attention accordingly.

Can't start MOL3, after trying to start MOL3, my Z11 PM jumps to home screen after about 5 sec. Has been so for a few hours (never had this before).
Just sent log 0000001735717 again.
Tried with/without VPN, tried with cable (standard) and with WiFi. Cleared cache of MOL3. No luck.
I want to avoid re-installing MOL3 (I will loose the last favourits for a few weeks) and really want to avoid a hard reset.
Any other suggestions?

Another thing i've noticed on this beta is when you update content manually and then go back to live while it's refreshing it will pop up a refresh channels notification when done covering the entire screen, that doesn't happen in the automatic content update, thankfully.
I guess it’s persistent onscreen so you don’t have to then press menu button and refresh like before?
If you’re manually refreshing then the aim is to do that as quickly as possible so if it’s onscreen you’re going to complete the refresh anyway otherwise what’s the point manually refreshing and then finishing it later? -
Same here,one of my providers is about to expire 08/06/24,igot the same message as you,and above that in Content Manager this Provider is highlighted by yellow colouring.
Have no idea how to disable it!
This is a new feature to beta. Can’t disable it I don’t believe.

One problem after the last beta (29.05.2024): MOL3 shows a still image of the channel (not playing it) and it becomes unresponsive to the point that it exits the app and I have to reboot the box to make it work again. I managed to start the “other” player (TiviMate) which is more verbose regarding the errors immediately after the MOL3 crashed (it also didn’t work) and it threw the error in the attached screenshot. I don’t know if they are related or not but maybe it helps the devs. When encountering it next time I’ll also send a log file.
It is possible that if the same issue has occurred with both MTOL3 and Tivimate it could be an issue with the stream which is provider side to resolve.

Audio sync settings I believe are new to the beta.
Remember to check Audio Optimiser to see if it needs doing again. If not, consider using the sync as you’ve mentioned.
I had a sync delay just one time and I restarted the box and it went away, could the same in your case?
Remember also that your tv will possibly have an audio sync option so it could be that causing the issue so be sure to check both / all. -

I always use protocol you discribe : watching channels on one server and program recording on other server, and watch and zap always on the server who is not recording
Seems like all fine with current beta, I made a lot recording test, my issue is not anymore reproduceThis is the exact way to do it for multiple 1 connection providers!

Dont you get the pop-up warning that recording one,whilst watching the other,may interfere with ongoig recording?
If you reply to this message with OK,it will no longer pop-up,but the issue is still present!
I get a notification saying “if you change channels the recording maybe interrupted” but I press ok and dont experience an issue.
I expect that’s a generic warning and not subscription specific, i.e warning those with single connection subs -
OK so I just tested recording on Provider A and watching another channel on provider B.
I also flicked through multiple channels on Provider B and still perfect recording on Provider A.
I then continued recording on Provider A and then selected other channels on Provider A and still perfect recording.
So the function works as expected.
My setup is XC and each “provider” is multi connection.
So as LaPraline mentioned and others I think, if you record on provider A and navigate channels on Provider B you shouldnt have an issue.
Limitations could also be in place for those creating custom playlists as mentioned in my last post -
Within the beta of MOL3 you can convert to portal connection.
So I guess if you’re connected with M3U
On any channel press menu button on rcu and go to settings and you’ll find a toggle to convert playlist to portal.
I don’t use M3U so can’t say if it works but it’s worth you trying.m
Xateado seems to have the better info on this method.
Likely the one using IPTV Boss will experience issues because you are creating a different playlist to whats initially pushed by the provider and it’s still creating a single connection playlist overall.
IPTV Boss is similar to xeev editor I think

If those two big (&ugly, I think) boxes on the home screen could be minimized or (better even) sent in a menu it would look nicer (my opinion). Otherwise I didn't see addressed any of the other issues raised here before (no single channel epg in m3u, single channel epg with no functionality in XC, no "record one watch another" channel functionality etc. etc.). Maybe in the stable update or even later (if ever).
Recording one channel whilst watching another works perfectly fine for me.

Both of those things are available already, not new to the beta
Ahhh OK, never noticed them on previous versions but thanks for pointing out.
I think did see a help centre on / off toggle within MTOL in previous versions but never it never did anything for me so I didn’t realise it was a feature available in the context it is now.

A nice touch I noticed added to this BETA.
From Formuler Home Screen if you go into settings and then Help Centre and navigate through the icons on the left you can get the info regarding your device including version number, network, free storage space etc and crucially reporting a problem.
Also, if you navigate again using the icons as mentioned and open Turorial, helpful videos can be found. Extremely useful for those who are unsure how to use some features of MTOL3
Works really well. Another excellent addition!

I have not seen any problems with the new beta yet.
However I am not keen on the new home page, I know some people asked for this, but it does nothing for me #, I do not need a big grey empty boxes with edit rows or history and favorites I think it looks ugly so perhaps an option to choose your home screen to either the legacy home screen or the new one.
I know you can't please everybody, but to me this is a backward step.
You can manually make it look like the legacy one though to a degree.
Add a custom row and rename to what you like or favourite the apps you like so they appear in one long row.
Change the colour scheme of the background by going to settings > launcher settings > wallpaper > gallery.
Choose from 21 colour schemes
Personally the new look is an excellent upgrade especially for those looking for an Android TV type appearance.

First off all, great new launcher. Second, grouping of providers in the groups section is excellent!
Issues I ran into
I can't pause tv nor can I rewind (time shift). Warning: storage disconnected.
In the settings menu of mol3 > Dvr options > Recording storage location and time shift storage location my sd card was strike through as in , it's disabled. After selecting it , that went away but didn't fix the issue.
I safely ejected storage and inserted sd card again. This didn't fix the issue
Formatted the SD card rebooted Z11 this didn't fix the issue.
Coloured buttons dont work for me anymore. Checked remote control app to be sure they were still there and they were there. I can't use the buttons anymore when I'm in the home screen.
I wonder if SD card slot is the issue in this case because others have experienced an issue with SD.
I’m using USB and timeshift works ok so I wonder if you could try usb to see if this resolves your issue.
If it does, then issue does point to SD function -
My coloured keys seem to work fine,e.g. green button for search and delete recordings,yellow for go to now in epg etc
I have IR remote,do you have BT remote?
He’s referring to the option to start an app, I use BT1 and can assign coloured buttons for certain tasks but it doesn’t work in this update even when assigning the task.
You can of course still program the buttons with dots and they still work ok so if starting an app is a must, he can assign one of those
