New "Game Day" feature in MOL3 - ideas, requests, suggestions.

Nice feature.

It would be great if it had highlights from every match as some statistic sites have links for youtube highlights either from the club's own channel or other channel or even by communicating with provider's EPG. And if it can be implemented in live matches it would be awesome because one of the things that i usually do is to go back and search for the goal in the guide and clicking on the start of the live stream, but if you could somehow put the timestamp in the highlights and that could be communicating with our provider's live match (given everything is well configured in the provider's side) it would be amazing even knowing it's hard to be accurate, at least we know it's near that timestamp.

Not a big sports fan, but I do watch small amounts of some sports, never football hate it. I do however like formular 1. overall I think this is a good idea for avid sports fans.

-if you german - then i can select: TV Stations from Germany, Austria, or England, Italy ... - that i get only results of the TV Stations from this country for this specific Game, or Event, or League
- Small Interface which can be opened from the action menu (where all the settings are at the bottom when you watch a channel) - and stays on the screen (transparency level to change too please )
-Live Statistics from the Game
-Other Results from the Same League other Favorite Games
. -Quick Zap on the other favourite game

depends on what amount of money formuler is about to spend

Great innovative feature.

Providers would be keen on this especially because some create the lists and put them in the channel bouquets and takes a lot of time and effort. Sometimes if they rip them from elsewhere the providers don’t always keep up week by week.

By Formuler doing this it takes away from the provider and having the option in the menu system is great to finding it easily.

Maybe in the future, although possibly complex, if your team is playing and you select the badge it reads your channel listings and shows the channels the game can be watched and then simply select said channel.

As I said, it could be complex as provider lists can be different but most have the same channels available so possibly can be done.

Maybe also link to the the PIP feature so you can have live stats on a small screen whilst the game on big screen?

What would help me a lot:

Click an a game and see all channels where this game is shown. And then easily be able to click on each of those channels and search for them (in combination with showing the quality and fps of each of them in the 'preview' result would be even better). Not simple, I know but perhaps the list of channels can be kind of searched in websites such as 'live on sat dot com' or the one Lucky133 posted in #5 here above.

Just a thought/wish.

hmm - just saw this is basically something that adrilang asked here above - although here the list of channels doesn't come from the providers (most of them have not enough EPG on all this amount of countries), but from a website.

I would like to see Formula 1 in the game day update

Would like to have categories for Formula 1 and MotoGP added.

But you see how important this is to us users 😳

Suggestion: if you go into (fox eample) premier league. Then Scedhule. When there is no game today you have to click through the dates. It must jump automatically to the FIRST DAY where a game is.

Or: you dont do dates, you do game days, what i would prefer.

Just saw that there's already some progression: I could choose a date, game and all the possible channels were displayed -> great!

Some small requests: search for the channels worked, but the results were shown random I believe, could they be sorted per provider, or at least show the provider and show the quality+fps? ; further the possibility to set certain clubs as favourite, and so directly see the upcoming matches.

The possible Channels are not right my friend. its just a list. nothing more.

Just tested again with new .12 update. Improvements already, nice to see!

One suggestion tho, when searching for suggested channel, maybe it should also check with the prefix for the country the channel it's on.

Like DAZN Portugal is suggested, but when searching for it no channels comes up. But there is a channel called DAZN PT at my provider .PT is the prefix for Portugal, Like UK is for United kingdom, SE is for Sweden and so on. Most providers don't use full length of the country names

I tested some more,and the possible channels list is definitely more than a random list.When you press the channel,you get a stream directly,so it makes it a very useful feature

- when selecting a game by choosing a date (planning): channels appearing and all ok

- when selecting a game by a club and upcoming matches: no channels Found.

Another suggestion, following Kincool's post #17: now we can click on a suggested channel to search (keep this option please), it could be interesting to also be able to change manually the channelname of the choosen suggested one. I hope I'm clear (to eg delete the country name).

Further, the Mrs. asked if tennis could be added.

The soccer works perfectly,the one thing i dont understand when i search for a a game,Viaplay Netherlands does not come up,as broadcaster of Premier League,whereas other channels do.

Is this because there is no epg info on Viaplay channels?

I think its not a search.

Formuler took a database of channels and throw them into this.

There are channels showed up who has no rights for premier league right now

Thats how i see this. But maybe the devs have an answer for us

You open game day and select schedule.

Then select day and if a game is showing it will show them.

then select a game for the channels to appear.

From there I believe it is highlighting all channels the game will be available on but not exclusive to your subscription.

From there you cycle through to a channel that is on your service and select it to play.

If the channel selected doesn’t work for you when pressed, it’s possible it isn’t in your subscription and therefore select another.

Consider that on some platforms, games are not shown until the game is on….

For the game you mentioned, If you select TNT sports in that list, it will open TNT Sports because there is something showing 24/7, of course assuming you have TNT sports with your subscription

Hows the feature looking for channels that shows the game you choose? SAM epg? As many providers now have daily event channels that update the channel names to the game name, searching for channels with the chosen game though the game name might be good also.

I just tested a game for this date in La Liga-Betis vs Leganes and numerous channels came up,1 hour before the start of the match

Some channel give different options-like Stefan Steif-wrote,e.g. there is a choice out of 3 Arg channels,some platforms are not "online" yet,but overall it works very well

I doubt its global search,because when the normal search does not deliver the right channel,you can go into advanced search,and that seems to be "global search",with Gboard popping up?

Thx for reply. I didnt know, that TNT Sports can be watched in the D+ App in UK. Im not from there.
But i dont think the search result is „useful“. Or the Game Day App opens the D+ App and the right Stream.

2) ok, for me no logic actually

Maybe your Feature can grab the Channel Details for each Match/Game/Event from Liveonsat.com or Sportseventz.com. Prior maybe your team can look for a lot sport channels in Europe / UK / USA / Australia - and filter them for their country. e.g.: Sky Sports Main Event in UK, Sky Sport Bundesliga in Germany.

The User can decide which countrys should be displayed in his/her "Search for Channels" - when he clicks on a game/match. So maybe/she he decidec only Germany Channels should be displayed.

Then the search engine should be able to search for similarities in the channel names. e.g.: DE-Sky Sport Bundesliga - GER-Bundesliga - Bundesliga - Sport Bundesliga - and show the results. Or to look after a Teams name in the stream name. (some providers change the name to the teams name when they play) Then to mark in my reminders or recordings...

And in a later release: an overlay during a Live-TV Stream.

Example: i would not go into the Feature and look for live scores when i have to leave my current match. So i rather put out my phone.

Like i choose the audio sub - i need access to the Game Day Feature as an overlay. (with live tables, live results)

Very Very good approach in the beginning - and looking forward to the next releases.
