    I see, this is in the main screen of settings of the BOX, not in MOL3 settings, which was not clear to me.

    I also concur with LaPraline - coloured buttons don’t launch app. They launch the standard menu systems within MTOL.

    Great new update! Only start an app don't work with the BT1 remote. Still missing a refresh button in the left. Maybe make it possible to refresh live tv automatic by the restart of Mytvonline3?

    Nice little update for a change. Best one since record & watch another channel. 👍🏼 now all we're waiting for is what woste reported & me a long time ago. (No provider showing in vod/favourites. That's a issue. Record & remind on single epg a must. & 7 day epg fix for xc api.) All a must i think. & so do many others. Thanks for the update though beta.

    If those two big (&ugly, I think) boxes on the home screen could be minimized or (better even) sent in a menu it would look nicer (my opinion). Otherwise I didn't see addressed any of the other issues raised here before (no single channel epg in m3u, single channel epg with no functionality in XC, no "record one watch another" channel functionality etc. etc.). Maybe in the stable update or even later (if ever).

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! Finally some aspect ratio options that actually do something and the ability to skip to different providers, beats scrolling through the whole list to get to them. Brilliant.

    Haven't found anything not working that hasn't already been mentioned.

    Recording one channel whilst watching another works perfectly fine for me.

    You probably are the luckiest customer Formuler ever had. Everything seems to work fine for you. For me, when I record one channel and try to change it in order to watch another one, I get a pop-up message that says that changing channel will stop the recording. I'll add a screenshot when I get home.

    If you reply to this message with OK,it will no longer pop-up,but the issue is still present!

    gabi and henkie you need to have a provider with more than one connection at same time otherwise you can't record a channel and watch another, that's the most common reason for that screen you're gettin. I can do the same as adrilang just fine because i have unlimited connections from my provider, so i can watch a channel, have another on PIP and recording a third different channel. I would love MOL3 to have the multi screen studio option as other apps like tivimate has so i could put 4 or more channels on screen thoug :smiling_face_with_horns: because Euro 2024 is coming :red_heart:

    Yes, both of the providers in my m3u (generated by combining two providers with IPTVBoss editor) have multiple connections. On the other hand I don't know why a player should "police" the user in this case (it's their problem with their provider).

    Had same issue that gabi on previous beta version

    I have 3 providers, each providers allow only 1 connection, that the reason i record on one server and watch on another server

    If i record on server A , and want change channel on server B, i have pop-up message that says that changing channel will stop the recording (still have this message on actual beta version)

    If i change channel on server B, that cut recording on server A

    With actual beta, i'm trying to reproduce but i cannot

(Make sure it's not the same provider as i read some people with 1 connection limit trying to use stalker and xcapi at the same time to try to fool provider - let me tell you that doesn't work and sometimes it can do worst).

    I would try to be in the "Provider A" channels (don't change to "Provide B" channels) and schedule a recording on a "Provider B" channel while being watching channels on "Provider A" to see what happens when it starts recording. I can record fine while watching channels on Provider A or B and recording on Provider C, but didn't try it yet on beta.

    Bit odd having to create favourites and history for each of Live VOD and series before they can be added to the home page. Would be better IMHO if they could be added empty and then they populate as and when. As it is setting up a new box is a bit cumbersome.

    Also removing the last favourite means it disables and needs to be re-added, just leave it empty for when a new favourite is added.

    I did try this on beta and it works (all 3 providers on XC),as long as you record NOT on the same provider you are watching (all 1 connection providers)

    it's different servers (all use XC API)
    I always use protocol you discribe : watching channels on one server and program recording on other server, and watch and zap always on the server who is not recording
    Seems like all fine with current beta, I made a lot recording test, my issue is not anymore reproduce

    m3u or XC? Because I think the key word here is "m3u". Seems that a lot of things doable with XC connections are not possible using m3u (never mind mine which is a m3u that aggregates multiple sources).

    gabi,i think you have a somewhat unique set up,by merging M3U lists via the IPTV Editor (IPTVBoss),for advantages of XC connection i would like to refer you to a thread by Jumping Rabbit "How to create XCAPI Portal",i do not think this will make you switch to XC connection,as i.e. one of the advantages he mentions is ;better epg,which is not correct for current epg on XC (limited to 24 hours,in most cases):winking_face:

    Yes, when you add portal you have 2 choices (stalker or xcapi) and when you add playlist it will convert it to xcapi portal lol What's a playlist anyways? A playlist is nothing more than a xcapi portal nowadays, it works almost the same way. So when you add a playlist to MOL3 it asks if you want to convert it to xcapi format and you say "yes", then when you go see the portals you have there is no playlist, it's as if you had added a xcapi portal yourself. If you look at your playlist link you have the information there (server, username and password). But if it's confusing you MOL3 converts it for you anyways so you don't need to bother with that specifics.

    Within the beta of MOL3 you can convert to portal connection.

    So I guess if you’re connected with M3U

    On any channel press menu button on rcu and go to settings and you’ll find a toggle to convert playlist to portal.

    I don’t use M3U so can’t say if it works but it’s worth you trying.m

    Xateado seems to have the better info on this method.

    Likely the one using IPTV Boss will experience issues because you are creating a different playlist to whats initially pushed by the provider and it’s still creating a single connection playlist overall.

    IPTV Boss is similar to xeev editor I think

    OK so I just tested recording on Provider A and watching another channel on provider B.

    I also flicked through multiple channels on Provider B and still perfect recording on Provider A.

    I then continued recording on Provider A and then selected other channels on Provider A and still perfect recording.

    So the function works as expected.

    My setup is XC and each “provider” is multi connection.

    So as LaPraline mentioned and others I think, if you record on provider A and navigate channels on Provider B you shouldnt have an issue.

    Limitations could also be in place for those creating custom playlists as mentioned in my last post

    I get a notification saying “if you change channels the recording maybe interrupted” but I press ok and dont experience an issue.


    I expect that’s a generic warning and not subscription specific, i.e warning those with single connection subs

    In IPTVBoss I merge/combine two XC sources and the result is a .m3u file (let’s call it playlist) and a .xml/.xml.gz file for the epg. Recently, IPTVBoss introduced the posibility to generate (instead of the m3u) a XC portal but I hadn’t the time to try it yet.

    Just had a shutdown whilst watching another player not MOL3, this is the first time that this player has ever stopped it is usually MOL3 when it happens, so I don't know if it is related to the beta firmware upgrade or not.


    It has the same symptoms as when MOL3 stopped, went back to home screen and no apps would start. opened settings then apps, then went back to home screen without doing anything in there, then the apps were working again.

    Hi,today i am having some audio/video synchronization problems on almost all live tv channels(thefirst thing i would normally do is contact my provider) by accident i searched ,pressing the red buton that there is a feature "synchronization",in which you can adapt in steps of 50 ms the audiodelay(is this a new beta feature,as i never noticed it before?)

    Can someone explain how this works,e.g.when there is still audio when the person already shut his mouth,do i have to turn the audiodelay up or down?

    How do i confirm this new setting,by pressing OK or back button?

    I'm searching similar issue on the forum, I give you some answers :

    - Put ip static

    - Reboot your modem

    - Disable suround sound

    About delay settings, just clic on + or - and see what is the best settings for you

    if each channel don't have the same delay, the delay settings is not memoring on one channel, so you need to set again each time you come back to the channel

    Hi,did you have the synchronization option before the beta update,to me it wasnt there before the update.

    I use VPN with fixed IP address to Belgium (NORDvpn).

    I havent found out if the delay settings are set over all channels,as all of them are out of synch

    Dont remember if audio synch settings was already here before beta
    I tested audio delay, if you set on one channel audio delay is applied just to this one, if you change channel and comme back to previous channel, audio delay setting is gone, you need set it again

    Audio sync settings I believe are new to the beta.

    Remember to check Audio Optimiser to see if it needs doing again. If not, consider using the sync as you’ve mentioned.

    I had a sync delay just one time and I restarted the box and it went away, could the same in your case?

    Remember also that your tv will possibly have an audio sync option so it could be that causing the issue so be sure to check both / all.

    Restarting the box seems to have done the trick ,all channels now in synch again:thumbs_up:

    One problem after the last beta (29.05.2024): MOL3 shows a still image of the channel (not playing it) and it becomes unresponsive to the point that it exits the app and I have to reboot the box to make it work again. I managed to start the “other” player (TiviMate) which is more verbose regarding the errors immediately after the MOL3 crashed (it also didn’t work) and it threw the error in the attached screenshot. I don’t know if they are related or not but maybe it helps the devs. When encountering it next time I’ll also send a log file.

    It is possible that if the same issue has occurred with both MTOL3 and Tivimate it could be an issue with the stream which is provider side to resolve.
