I found out that the problem was caused by the VPN application.
After shutting it down the update installed.

There are no firmware files.
Only download o.t.a.
Try factory 3-5 times. if still not work. Contact seller for warrenty.

It looks like every 5 or 6 seconds it does not respond when I press any button. 1 sec later it does respond to repeat this 5 or 6 sec later.
I will test more and will also replace the batteries.
Did the update for my Z11Pro Max just under one hour ago - update installed, but cannot view any of my channels - YouTube is working, all I get when I enter MyTV network failure so slightly lost what to do even after 2 router reboot and 2 Formuler reboot.

I made a reset of remote, and clean cache of all apps

The other day tested again and the issue had disappeared. All good now.
At the end of the day I always shut down the box and the next day start again.
So maybe a simple restart solved my issue.

Android System WebView
ExpressVPN
Gboard
Google app for Android TV
Android accessibilitytools
Android TV-remotecontrol
Android TV Core Services
Youtube for Android TV
NordVPN (app that I installed myself)
Can SAM or F_Peter let me know if it is safe and required for me to install these updates?
If not, why are these updates there? Apparently Google sees that old versions are installed and being used on the box by Formuler even after this latest HOTFIX update.
Webview is for apps which let you see webbrowser content within an app.
expressvpn is a vpn. (In app settings you can delete updates and shutdown the app if uninstall not work if it's a systemapp)
Gboard is googles keyboard.
And the rest for android.
All safe.

A friend has a Formular Z11 Max Pro after the latest update, the menu came up "reload your playlist" he clicked on it and now the menu is spinning and he can't get out of it. He has cut off the power and tried all the tricks he can, nothing helps. He hasn't made a backup of the latest software (the update that came this week! What should/can he do???

Remove cache? And restart box.
If that doesn't help uninstall mytvonline3 and reboot device and install it again via Market app (green logo with white trolly)
Also install "audio optimizer" and run it once, if he didn't do it already.
Ps. Backup of software/firmware is not possible.

Formuler z11 pro max, after new update, when changing the channels is freezing and rebooting. If I get stable channel is stable only for 5, 10 minutes then is freezing and after few seconds is rebooting. I have 3 different providers and is the same with all of them.
Backup from MOL3 and then factory reset, worked for me. Thank you!

After the latest firmware update, it's stuck in a loop, I see Formuler, then Mytvonline 3, then it reboots and goes back to the Formuler startup. If I then unplug the power for a while, it continues.
Sorry if this should be posted elsewhere my first post, but after performing update lost all epg. Everything no information and in content manager no date against last epg update and Contents says last update 1st February. Refresh fails every time and epg update fails. Using Xcapi.
Try setting epg update interval to 3 hours.

Could you please go to Network Settings -> Private DNS -and change to QUAD9, save.
On your side i also think there is some issue with portals. Could you please delete one of them (no backup restore) and create again. I guess you use XC Api?

Last days have error research with few users and change to QUAD9 DNS with new update solved many issues. Please change also to QUAD9 DNS, no matter if VPN in use or not, it can help to get better streams and without hickups. Of course, it is not solution for everyone but it could help many users. Please test.

I have this same issue after Update my z11 pro max went into Loop crash. Disconnected everything then did a factory reset that fixed the loop crash but now i see this when i try to add my service to Mytvonline. My internet is working fine and my service is still active. what have you guys done to my box?
Thus update threw my box into a crash loop then created an internet connectivity issue cannot add my portal as the MTVO app no longer recognizes a wired or wifi connection
Everything was fine after the update, but since two days ago the online subtitle search just makes the app crash.
Gotcha SAM im just frustrated. My equipment wasnt cheap. It just needs to work.

Since you did factory reset and have this error. Go to Network -> Private DNS -> and choose there QUAD9 DNS Server.
Ive been using default protocols. But aside from that i found that my issue was using my HD on the 3.0 port after the update having my HD plugged in causes a crash loop. Im not sure if this issue is just isolated to the 3.0 usb plug i havent tried to plug my HD into the other usb plug to see if the issue persists in that region also. I unplugged it and restarted my box it no longer crash loops. Unfortunately i will no longer have timeshift or access to my personal media but im sure you guys will fix it with the next update everything worked fine before the update.
