I am simply a user of the device and I am satisfied with its performance, which is why I am proud to have acquired it.
My only goal is to have a good user experience and to understand any possible changes in order to make better use of it.

ANd patdel65 i think it's a new feauture because it's a new fancy menu inside the app that tells you to disable developer mode, they wouldn't do a fancy menu if they didn't intended to use it in the future and it's a shame...

Imagine if we have 3/4 providers (it's not too much) and we have to enter setup with the remote and put credentials and selecting channels ffs, it's better to shot myself in the head. Formuler will go down the toilet very soon...

You're complaining without knowing the facts. You say all the other boxes have accessible developer mode. You're right on that point, but you're installing third-party apps, not a system app like on the Formulateur, and that changes everything. It's much harder to secure the code of MOL3 or MOL4 than Tivimate, for example. Instead of complaining, explain why it's a problem for you, because personally, I've never needed to use developer mode to use MOL3 or MOL4. Your request might be legitimate and will probably be taken into account by the developer, but you could make the comment more politely, in my opinion.

patdel65 It's not only for third party apps, it's to control mytv on my computer, edit channels, add portals, etc. On computer it's so easy, on remote is a pain in my ass, if they remove something we already have just to say it's a security risk? Really??? Security risk?? The ones that enable developer mode already know it's a security risk in some environments, not on my local network. It's a security risk since ~2010.

And protecting the code of MOL 3/4 is one thing and i understand, what i don't understand is why disabling developer mode is protecting anything if we still can enable it for the other stuff on formuler, just mytv is asking to disable it or it doesn't work. it seems to me this is to avoid the best thing this android boxes have that is when we don't want to be in the same room as formuler we watch stuff on computer.

You might not need it or might not be aware because because but ask SAM how he does this tutorials and ask if he can still do it with this new setting. I know with AI it's becoming harder to protect anything but we already pay the extra price on this boxes to have some kind of extra protection and not being prejudiced with lesser features or worst.

I understand if they did it on MOL4 to protect the new app from being exposed and copied because with developer mode enabled you can make screenshots and post it on the web and with AI you can easily make a new app very similar but...it already exists, why bother, it's not like the code is more exposed with developer mode enabled.

And last but not least if they really want more security protection they should perhaps update the Android version instead of removing features. You probably don't care about it but i'm sure many care and many are not here because they probably don't use BETA, once the official comes and they see that option they will be very upset. Just wait and you should be grateful that some people notice this things before something very bad happens and then you say if only someone told us!!!! I'm saying to you many people use this every day and i if they don't is because they are unaware of this. This is one of the best things formuler boxes have, don't disable it please...

In the VOD section can we get the ability to sort groups by rating from TMDB?

I admit I don't use developer mode to manage the app; I never would have thought of it if you hadn't told me. However, the developers of MOL3 and MOL4 disabled developer mode to protect the apps. Without going into details, this is the foundation for hacking an app. Take the Z8, for example, which unintentionally doesn't have developer mode. By doing this, it prevents logging information about the app and how to bypass the security measures in place. It's not necessarily intentional on the part of the developer to have implemented this security, but possibly it's due to security applications they used to protect MOL3 and MOL4 that enforce it. Until now, the Formula apps lacked these security measures, which allowed the MOL3 hack. Without getting too technical, this gives you the most likely explanation for this developer mode block.

Well SAM that's very bad.

This is a very bad decision and people are going to come here when it becomes official!!! With this decision my formuler is going away and i'm going to probably try other brand. This is nothing, we can't trust a company that disables stuff just because they are incapable of protecting something is not going to be protected anyway...

They need to disable developer mode entirely!!!!! And that's not the best move! The competition are cheaper and more secure?? That's what you're saying!

Okay with MYTVOnline 3 Version : 12.1.33 no problems with recording

MYTVOnline 3 Version : 12.1.40 and MYTVOnline 3 Version : 12.1.41 no recording possible...

Red dot appears in the right upper corner and no messages that the recording failed...

When i stop recording (manual or scheduled) the file can not be played back and in the info it says 0:00

So i uninstalled the mytv online and go back via the market and i install the MYTVOnline 3 Version : 12.1.33 it works perfect...

Is there a bug in the new mytvonline or is there a setting i missed ?

And i have done a hard reset to defaults and the newer versions after V12.1.33 does not record

i have no atsc channels (and also no DVB-t tuner)

So for the official version developer mode will have to be disabled.There is a few settings in there that i use.
