    Hello, Since June 28th, expressvpn no longer works properly with mytvonline 3 and 4, each time the channel is changed there is a latency of 5 to 10 seconds, and when you play a video in VOD, the connection crashes at the exit. I tried with another IPTV player (tivimate) and it works well... There is a problem between expressvpn and mytvonline 3 and 4...

    I advice to try nordvpn my friend.

    But do you install latest version from expressvpn from google playstore on your Z12?

    You say it's since June 28.

    Did expressvpn get an update some days before? i can't find a direct download for latest version of expressvpn.

    Maby you can contact them first? Don't say you use iptv😉

    The official version yet is 12.70 version and a beta from july is 12.71 version.

    Go to there website, login and search for Androidtv version.

    ExpressVPN works for me, version 12.69.0. A little delay when changing channels, but that's always been the case with VPNs.

    Hello, Yes, the issue occurred after the June 28 update of expressVpn. I reverted to an earlier version but it didn't fix the problem. I contacted expressVpn and they couldn't do anything either, yet the customer service is responsive and listening, I was frank with them and I told them the problem clearly, anyway expressVpn is pre-installed on formuler Z12, so there is a commercial agreement, and no one has any illusions about the use of their boxes... The problem is that the problem arises only with mytvonline 3 and 4, with other players like Tivimate, I am not a problem, so there is clearly a conflict between mytvonline and expressVpn... I tried with other vpns and no problem... And I can't change my vpn, I took a 26-month subscription for 80€, the price was interesting... The solution for the moment is that I don't use mytvonline anymore but Tivimate which works well.

    Isn't it possible to create a config file in the ExpressVPN portal? Then you could install the official WireGuard app from the Play Store and add that config file. That might work better than using the official app. It's just an idea; I don't have any experience with ExpressVPN myself.


    Airvpn works also great more settings for advanced users. With "Eddie" app works smoothly with Mytv online 4/ 3.

    Then wait for another expressvpn update and or try nordvpn 30 days.

    Connect with nordvpn to an obfuscated server. It's an secured connection what likes as an https connection. So your isp don't see you use a vpn and it's a great feature. Some isp (internet service providers) if they see you use vpn with streams, then can showing down your internet speed.

    With an obfuscated server it won't.

    Be sure if you want to test it. That you are connected with an obfuscated server. You can see it in on nordvpn home screen. The country which you are connected and what kind of server.

    Only nordvpn has them. Good helpdesk and money back in 30 days.


    Surfshark has also sort of obfuscated servers, but the call it stealth. But some people i know are stopped with using surfshark, cause the (stealth) function doesn't work good enough.


    So i use on advice nordvpn too.

    Hello, I tried yours Sweden 2, and it didn't change anything, I tried a lot. Thank you. My problem solved itself as it appeared, the connection crashed, I restarted and everything came back to normal, the problem came from expressVpn, I had tried everything, factory reset etc etc... Thank you for your help.

    I spoke too fast, the vpn had not reconnected after the restart, I restarted it, and the problem came back, a latency of 5 to 10 seconds each time channels are changed and the connection crashes at the exit of the VOD if I watch a video, I will be patient and wait for expressVpn to fix the problem...

    Is there an option to set vpn protocol to TCP(open vpn) within Express vpn?If so try it out.
