I’m using the M3U mode portal and I’m constantly losing favorites and gaining favorites that I don’t want. Anyone else have this and know of a solution?

I'm also having this issue and would love to have a solution.

My brother had this issue as well. He switched to a MAC based account which fixed the issue for him (but I understand if you don’t want to switch account types). It’s definitely a bug

Yes using a mag address work without any major problem, it's just m3u that somehow change the favorites, today all my favorites was gone.

Issue has been reported to the engineers.

Well my problem has been exactly the opposite of losing favourite channels, i use a mac address when connecting to the portal and i keep getting hundreds of unselected channels added to my favourites list, i have twice put this to my IPTV provider and they categorically state that they do not store favourites on their server, and that the problem must be Formuler related which is denied when i have asked or searched on here. So i bit the bullet and subscribed to xtreme-editor and so far my favourites have been untouched, also the box loads very quickly into their portal URL and everything seems slicker with faster channel changing, so i am at last a happy bunny. It seems to be the age old problem of both provider and Formuler blaming each other, although judging from the above post maybe Formuler have at last accepted it is a bug.

Stalker favorites are stored and managed on the server.
Maybe your provider broke the Stalker implementation due to negligence or ignorance.
Or maybe they don't know how the backend works.
It's okay though, there's a lot of incompetent server operators popping up everyday and we're used to hearing all kinds of hearsay and incorrect utterances from all corners of the internet.
To get the thread back on track, M3u favorites are still a work-in-progress.
Hope to get this feature patched in the upcoming update.
