Hi everyone just got a z8 box all set up with my service provider's app. Got a1TB hard drive connected but when I press the red record button it just takes a screenshot any one know what to do so I can record.

Hi,
long press on recording button makes screenshots, for recording you need just single short press on record button.
Did you formatted your hdd like this? -> How to format Micro SD card, USB flash drive, pen drive, hard drive or SSD for use with Z and S Boxes.

did overlook in your first post that you use provider app. Did you changed in meantime to MYTVOnline 2 like 175n suggested ?
