TVHeadend M3U URL Not Working in MYTVOnline

hi guys - first post - loving this little box.

I Have my own TVHeadend Server which outputs to boxes around the house.

my problem is it just wont play with MYTVOnline - Im getting code 11 errors

ive tried

http://http//user/:PASSWORD@xxx.xxx.net:PORT/playlist/channels - (default tvheadend output)

http://USER:PASSWORD@xxx.xxx.net:PORT/playlist/auth/channels

http://xxx.xxx.net:PORT/playlist/channels/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

http://USER:[email protected]:PORT/playlist/channels/get.php?type=m3u_plus&output=ts

combinations of these work with tivimate and gseplayer- I really would like to get this working.

im thinking the authentication of user/password may be the problem - any idea on this guys

also could I use my plex storage movie collection as the address for VOD?

my usual line is

http://user:password@tvheadendip:9981/playlist/auth/channels

I use .m3u at the end for ****

And as is for TvhClient and tivimate

If server run local, is for example file:///home/IPTV/video.m3u not possible?

I didn’t post any provider names in my previous post - it was GSE IPTV player

And yes it’s my server under my stairs - but can’t get it past code 11 errors

I’m struggling with this although I’m loving the box itself

If you connect to a local server you must have access to (enable) some kind of logging, on that server, to see how/what/why it is generating the code 11?

This works fine for me on latest MOL2 v7.5.2

If it doesn't work for you, check your TVH user account setup and/or whitelist internal IP range so username/password is not necessary to obtain the playlist

I assume it will raise priority at the MOL2 Devs when more people report the issue.

So you coming to this forum to confirm having an issue will then already help a bit.

right - I’ve logged into users -there are no whitelist options.

I created a new user with no restrictions regarding passwords and authentication but still nothing.

I’m not even getting anything on tvheadend debug about entry refusal so I think it’s failing before then

Hey, fellas. I fixed error code 11. I'll explain. As you all know, there have been many problems with iptv stomps. That happens some iptv providers have had to switch to another more secure platform. What happens I had a m3u list for 2 devices simultaneously and the change of this platform and the z8 with lists that are 2 devices or more gives problems and I do not know why. I did create with my supplier a simple m3u osea for 1 only disp. And problem solved

Which version of tvh are you using?

On your PC, while connected to the same LAN as your Z8, enter the following into your web browser to see if the m3u file is downloaded correctly.

head over to the TVH forums and figure out why it asks you for username and password again, even though you entered the user/pass in the URL directly.

Try changing ‘Authentication type’ to ‘Both plain and digest’ in TVHeadends General settings. Save and reboot your TVHeadend server.

Got to agree with Shirehorse99 here. I’ve been messing about with this for the past hour or so and it’s a constant code 11, no matter which address is used. TVHeadend doesn’t show even the slightest flicker of a connection from the Z8.

http://user:password@tvheadendip:9981/playlist/auth/channels works fine in Tivimate.

Shirehorse99 Which version of TVHeadend are you using? I’m using v4.3-1842 on my Raspberry Pi 4.

Right guys

I’ve just spoken to a developer of a m3u retrieval website who has tried to log into my server and it is indeed tvheadend that is blocking him retrieve the m3u playlist . He has written some code to allow this to now work and said it would be ok to share it with you guys if you need it to correct this problem.

I would be grateful if you could get this working - if you need his code as a base let me know

Bumping will not help, because we don`t have solution for your issue on normal way. 175n is in moment 24/7 hours in meetings and other stuff, when he find time for your issue he will answer.
