Hi,
I noticed a strange behavior lately: when i schedule a recording on my NAS, it works fine.
But when i record live, it sometimes indicates "no storage detected". If i reboot the Z8, it solves the issue.
Any idea?

Could be that your NAS is at this time in power save Modus and need first to be initialized and at this time not ready for recording..

Mine randomly disconnects i have to manually mount again.

I watch recordings on my Enigma 2 boxes i thought it maybe that but if it's happening to others maybe not

And the worst thing you have to come out of MYTVonline, go to Network storage to mount again eeerrr just done it again

My NAS still disconnects . On the Last few Reboots of Z8 I've noticed the icons in top right. NAS appears then Bluetooth then when the key for VPN, Nord in my case NAS disappears and is disconnected. Is this the case with anyone else.
I am going to see if i can find any reason, maybe because ip address is changing ????

It does the same on both of my Z8s every reboot. Records work if you just press record . but timer are hit and miss. I am wondering if Vpn does something when box is woken from standby by timer

I have the same problem. It appears my NAS unmounts allmost every day. Very annoying.
Solution: the Z8 should detect If the Nas disconnects and must automatically attempt to re-mount.

Update: Yesterday I was watching a movie and the message:
Network storage error
All network storage disconnected
appeared.
I have a Synology NAS on a wired (Cat6) network. On my NAS sleep or energy saving mode is turned off. It is allways on.
I wish, when the Z8 dtects my NAS disconnecting for whatever reason, it should immediately attempt to reconnect!!
Is there any log file I can look in to to analyze the problem?

Can you restart and watch symbols at top. mine starts shows USB then NAS Then when VPN starts NAS disappears i was wondering if this was just me

When you connect to VPN you end up on another network and that's why your NAS disappears from your Z8

Hi ,I had relised that but no one else seem to mention. But when i have NAS and another Z8 set as drives only 1 gets kicked the other stays on

I am having the same issue records fine timeshifts fine then after awhile i get an error the box errors out and everything pauses and get a local file error on the screen can remember the file name it gives me just says this file has stop responding so i have to go unplug the power box of my Z8 boxes do this
