Hello,
When recording and watching a different channels it appears that it uses 3 connections instead of 2, is this normal or a bug I am experiencing?

If your only recording 1 and watching 1 it shouldn't be using 3.
None of mine will let me record

how do you watch another channel and record? i can record something but it doesnt let me change the channel at all? im on the latest software and firmware and even beta is up to date.

If you refer to software update posts the info is in there.
You must have a “multiroom / dual” service from your provider if they support it. If not the feature will not be available to you.
