I am really struggling to connect via Mac the last two providers I tried I can't connect via Mac but it is set up their end because the same portal/Mac works on STB emu but it will not connect on mtvo2 any ideas

Hi... not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this on? I got a Z8 Pro in December and just got around to setting it up... however i can't connect to a portal and was wondering if someone could tell me what i am doing wrong. Have put all the correct details in, url, username, password... it starts to connect but only gets to 89 percent and then stops. Keeps trying for a while and then i get a Code: 7 Error telling me to check internet connection, Portal URL, User ID, and Password... but as i say the details as far as i know are all correct and internet connection is great. Have used these details to download app on a different device for the last year and it's been working fine, so it should all be correct. I have tried doing a factory reset and trying again from scratch but just keeps doing the same thing... apologies if i am missing something obvious here have heard great news about the Z8 Pro and so wanted to get one but i can't seem to get connected to a portal... any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback and video.
Please check again if there is any typo in your portal information, User ID, and password.
Try to test the portal on the IPTV smarter and see if it's working fine and let me know the result

Tried again under Xtream codes API and it says 'no response from server'
These seem to be the only 2 options on IPTV smarter
i'm not really sure which one i should be trying but both not working for me. url is fine i can use it on a different device with no problems...

Can you tell me which device and app that works fine did you tried?
And did you try the SAME SERVER on another device and app?
Try another IPTV service provider to see if it works.

I use it on a firestick 4k... download the app using the url
This is the only service provider i use... they have other clients who use the z8 pro with no issues as far as i am aware

I also have a client with a similar problem..
New Formuler CC.. all software updates done.... Can watch youtube, netflix etc.....
Provider has set up account correctly but screen displays "Code 7".... ( They will not issue M3U..)
Client installs old m@g box... provider swops mac addres back to original and all works fine.... Swops mac to the New CC and acc is blocked!
I give client another URL from a different supplier and it loads immediately!...
I am at a loss, so is my Provider..
Any help greatly appreciated

Is the the box upto date and use latest FW and SW?
Maybe is same MAC already in use from some user with EMU app. Does the provider also accept other MAC`s instead of 00:1A:79? If yes, then you can change to custom MAC in connection -> edit -> ID and forward to him to register new one for this sub.
