  • Have had the Z8 pro for about three weeks and a problem seems to have developed within the last ten days with internet cutting off both on wired and wifi, on the network settings it says connected however there is no internet signal as no browser works etc.

    After I unplug sometimes all works and sometimes not, am with Vmedia with a Superhub 3.

    Problem seems to happen in the evenings, any ideas guys ?

  • Yes use a VPN, not all the time though.

    Problem is if there is no internet connection the VPN cannot be started, shall try a couple of different settings as per formuler supportand if that does not work I will do a factory reset.

    Never had this type of problem with isp's blocking ( with other android boxes) as usually the internet works and only the iptv service is blocked so as soon as the VPN is started the iptv works, in this case all the internet is down so I am a bit confused.

  • Please check and try the steps below to see if it helps resolve your issue:

    1. Open Android Settings > Network settings
    2. Turn off WiFi on your Formuler device
    3. In the Network Settings, under 'IP Settings' make sure DHCP is enabled
    4. In the Network Settings, under 'Proxy Settings' make sure it is set to None
    5. Reboot your device and check for internet connectivity by opening the YouTube app
    6. Uninstall any DNS or VPN app from your device
    7. Disable IPv6 option in Settings and test again

    And as you said, lastly you can try Factory reset

  • I have done a factory reset and it worked fine for a few days however today when I turned on the picture was stuttering, sort of slow motion mode.

    The box rebooted on its own and it worked fine for a short while and all of a sudden got the buffering symbol and I lost connection totally, tried loading with the vpn and all I am getting now is error code 7 with vpn on and off. Internet connection still there as youtube loads no problem.

    Any ideas ?

    Are you sure your provider, isp or vpn is not the issue? Did you check with other IPTV app like tivimate if your sub. works?

  • Shall install Smarters later on as Mrs has taken over the TV, the provider is ok on the pc at the moment on Myiptv player.

    Problem seems to happen on the formuler box itself, isp does block for sure however this is overcome with the vpn on the pc.

    On the Formuler even with the VPN turned on I am getting the error 7 today, been having problems for a couple of weeks however it usually is the loading which stops at 10%, never had the error7 before today.

  • Well installed a couple of other players and have problems with them also, seems that VM are blocking in the evening every day apart from the usual weekends because of the footy. As soon as VPN is running all is fine.

    Never had this before with other iptv provider however I recently changed provider so he must be being targeted big time.

  • Digibit, the strange thing is the provider is not blocked on the pc running myiptv player software, while at that same time the formuler box is being blocked, does not make sense tbh, must be missing something.
