I'm trying to figure out how to control tv, z8 pro box and receiver from one remote. Specifically just the volume control. I no longer have the original remote for the receiver. I can't figure out how to program the z8 remote for receiver volume. Do I need to buy a special remote and if so, which one?

In that case buy universal Logitech RCU.

My understanding is that Logitech is abandoning the universal remote market, which is too bad, but you may be able to find serviceable units on EBay or such.
