Playtime limit

Hi everyone, first thx for this great box z8 pro is the beast.

But I have one issue about the playtime limit, it set to 3h, can't desactivate it, which mean if i'm not touching the remote the unit is going in sleep mode, i try other brand of iptv and it's not doing this, i try iptvmate and stbemu and the both not doing it, i know it's probably a setting send by default from the server side, but pretty sure you could disable this setting with a few line of code in a future update. I'm using portal/mac connection by the ways.

Hi there. I have a Z8 and I don't have this problem. I can just go into MTVO2, Menu, Settings, Playback Limit and I can set from Off-4 hours. Maybe do a backup and un/reinstall MTVO2 from the Market, then restore.

Playtime can be hard set by your provider to prevent runaway streams. In that case, there is no way you can edit it.

i understand that the limit is set by the provider, the formuler take that information and apply it but why other brand other then formuler don't have this playtime limit, that why i'm telling maybe it could be change through a software update. And to respond to Provels, no need to do software reset, i ask my admin provider and he said that was a setting apply only on formuler box, no need to reset it will do the same.

If you use xc api / username and password instead of mac portal, your provider will not be able to control playback limit.

This feature is included in MOL2 to help provider to control unused network stream traffic (when the user do nothing) and save same.

How ever this feature is only in protocol stalker implemented. If you want still to use stalker MAC/ID then ask provider to turn it off for your sub or at least increase to 6-10 hours. If not possible, then switch to XC Api and M3U protocol, they doesn`t have Playtime limit.

well, i'm not lucky on this one, the server admin told me that her value are set to 0 for playtime limit and only formuler are doing this playtime limit, no axi api or m3u protocol only stalker mac allow. In case, you want to change mol2 software a little bit by applying a defaut setting by the server and let people decide if they want to add or disable this playtime limit it could be nice, i know a person or 2 around me that could be happy about this change.

Once again, no matter what your provider say to you, he can deactivate this. Mol2 Playtime Limit is not activated or set from Formuler, provider activate, change this value or deactivate completely. Tell him he should set to highest value, just to see if his setting is correct and works!
