Features Request for Formuler Z10 Pro Max and MOL2

Hi

I would like it if they add the cursor button and arrow like in Formuler z 7 & 8

Like it if the also add a file manager like in previous versions.

Also I noticed in the mytvonline 2 that when you change channels there is a little pause can there be and adjustment to change how long for channels to load

also can the color in the epg guide be changed ( to show up better the catchup timeshift) as it is hard to see the catch up or timeshift channels show up were much easier to see in mytvonline 1

Set the remote cursor through the Formuler remote App.

Hi

I have the remote that has the cursor button on it but when you push it doesn't bring up the arrow. I put a ticket in about it they say it will be added in a future update. unless you have figured out how to get it to work.

Also I have tried to install a few different file mangers like what use to be on formuler z7+ and z8 they will install ask to give permission . but say you want to rename a file or delete say a movie from your usb hard drive like you could on older formuler this doesn't work so not sure how to get it to work or what permissions you need to get it to work. any ideas?

Remote control with mouse cursor buttons are not copatible with the Z10. It's the old version.

Only GTV-IR1 or BT1 Remote control must be used.

and of course Z10 also have the app "media browser" which work same like "File Manager" of old versions.

I think they took to many buttons on the new remote you lost the playlist button for recorded shows, the vod button the resolution button the mute button. I know you can program hotkeys but still not enough buttons to do all things.

I think the color of the epg guide isn't as easy to see the info the guide and also the channels that have catch up showed up better in Mytvonline 1

It would be also nice if the media browser had the features that the file manager had for rename ,delete etc.

Is nice that Formuler made a new box I bought it for the fact it had 4 gigs of ram and 32 gigs of storage and was on android 10 thought this would be a good upgrade ,but I liked features that were also in the Formuler z7+ and z8

I got the cursor button loaded on new remote but I hope formuler fixes the cursor button on the old remote I like it better maybe in a future software update.

The idea is the new box should be an improvement better then the older ones not with less features and settings

Is there any way in the VOD section to be able to make the movie poster size a bit bigger so it is easier to read the movie info. Maybe this could be added in future update

You can use TV File Commander for that. It is available in the Market app for the Z10 Pro Max. Works like a charm for both internal Z10 folders and files as well as USB/SD folders and files. TV File Commander can be found in the General Apps category of Market.

A delay when changing channels can be due to the Auto Frame Rate set to ON in the Player Options menu.

See if you have switched that option to ON, the default is OFF. If it is ON, switch it to OFF and see if you notice an improvement.

I noticed that switching it ON indeed delays the time to switch channels (due to the check and resync of the frame rate of the new chamnel that needs to be done).

I would like to see an option for bitstream audio output, so i can have the audio decoders in my (high-end) receiver do the decoding.

You are correct, I now have the same issue, for external (USB) storage…. while before I was able to rename files, folders and delete files and folders (had write permission). I am sure because I changed a foldername and deleted a file…

For internal storage I can still add folders edit names and write and delete files and folders though…. Weird!

Hope Formuler address this in future update to software. They need to add the ability to delte or rename a file even for the usb drive maybe they could add these feature to the media player. Also they need to add Dobly to the built in media player for files that you play on usb drive that have dd in the movie.

Would it be possible to have the backup and restore functions brought back for the Z10 Pro. Sometimes I do a factory reset to solve issues but reconfiguring the box to its previous state takes forever.

1) It is not compatible with any memory card for storage, neither SSD, nor USB

2) Netflix does not work, (I see that it is not a Premier TV box), yes, in the price, but not in applications

I am using a usb drive for storage no problems at all. I must be lucky because all the problems people seem to be having with the Z10 I have no issues at all so far. So you call your 2 issues quite a few problems?

Search in Forum and you will find for both solution, esp. how to format sd card, hdd or usb stick and use on such box.

I would like to see that it is possible to remain in the MyTVonline2 view whilst making settin changes to the image (Contrast, Brightness, Hue, Saturation) related settings and audio settings. That way one can immediately see or hear the effect of the change in real time. Rather than having to toggle back and forth between MyTVonline2 and the main menu.

Now it is hit and miss…

HLS Fast Start on/off back in menu.

On Z10 Pro sound isn,t in sync with picture.

Sound does lag behind picture, on some channels, anyone know what causes this ?

Hidden menu possibility on Z10 Pro Max would be appriciated.

2 sec black screen issue, solved in next software-update, would be nice (AFR is turned off).

speedracer: I noticed the same issue: Sound lagging the picture. Which is weird as normally the picture lags the sound because processing video takes more time than processing sound.

My guess is that this is a result of the (crappy) implementation of the audio codex (to put it mildly) as we all experience issues with audio codex/decoding.

Same experience when AFR is switched ON; whenever the video needs to adapt to another framerate, there is a black screen for a short moment (1 or 2 seconds). Again, probably due to implementation of the (this time) video codex.

Is it a new version of Google Play on this one?Why i´m wondering is because using the search function,the app i want to install can be find?

The app is *Bredbandskollen* It´s for measure internetspeed.

On my Formuler Z8 Pro,no problems at all to find it and install it.

In future updates for z10 pro max box can you add to the mytvonline 2 app dark mode setting so you can choose color etc of the epg guide and other settings in the mytvonline 2 app.

Is there any way this box can be rooted so that you would be able to install file manager that would have write permission to be able to rename, delete files from your usb drive.
