Android formuler app Audio Optimizer is missing in the Market

It's released unnecessarily and is not on the Market , but someones see the need.

Is there anyway round this, I have people that bought boxes and if they click off the message rather than downloading it they just end up with no sound on may of the movies / shows, used to just get them to download "Audio Optimizer" but this does not seem to be an option now, any ideas how to resolve this ???

Now that the Audio pop-up is a must , not an option with Z10.

reinstall the MOL2 app and accept it .

Sorry, Why is it not necessary on the Z10 ?? I had a lot of customers that have had issues with VOD sound missing when they don't accept the pop up, tried it myself with a few different sources and had the same issues with perfect video, but no sound.

Once you do a factory reset and install MyTVonline2 from Market it installs the latest version from MyTVonline2 (10.10.1) which does not show a pop-up asking for a codec install.

Furthermore, when you do a factory reset (and do not install MyTVonline2 from market) the main menu shows that an update is available, which (when selected and accepted) also installs the latest version of MyTVonline2 v10.10.1

So the whole fuss about accepting the codec popup is not applicable anymore once a factory reset is done.

Oeps….! Apparently I was wrong, I just opened the TV series Yellowstone which uses a DD+ 5.1 codec and indeed a popup requesting to install a codec appeared.

After installing the codec, the strange thing is that the volume can no longer be controlled by the Z10 box itself (the volume sounds at max regardless of the volume control, only total left gives the mute). The volume can only be controlled by the volume control of the receiver itself.

My Z10 is connected to my Yamaha receiver and the receiver is connected to the TV.

Hello, I am having similar, if not the same, issues. I accidentally did a Factory restore to my formuler z8 ( meant to clear the external hard drive) and now on many of my VOD series and Movies, I have no audio. It used to be automatic. I did add VLC but that only allows playback and not FF or RW. Any help is appreciated.

Stevo, this topic relates to the Z10 Pro Max box, not the Z8 box you refer to. There is a specific Z8 topic where you can drop your Z8 issue.

Thanks Blue Eyes! I've searched the forum for similar topics related to my issue and could only find this thread. Apologies for jumping the wrong one.

I am having the same issue on a brand new z10 box.

Cannot download the codec from the popup, it fails every time.

Not too impressed as audio is missing on quite a few channel's now.

Is there a fix/ download to the missing codec?

There is a fault where it will not download the plugin codec. New box and fully updated. Please advise.

There is still a major problem.

It says codec needs to be downloaded and reboot to take effect.

This still makes it ask to do the same thing every time on new movies and some tv stations.

Needs to be addressed.
