The Z10 remote has some functions missing so we wanted to use our Z8 remote. The light on the Z10 flashes but nothing happens, is there anything we can do in the settings to make the Z8 remote work on Z10?

No, because old z8 legacy rcu use other commands than IR1.

You can program actions to the 3 hotkeys at the bottom of the IR1 remote using the Formuler Remote app
