BETA firmware for Formuler Z10 Series released.

Firmware Version : 10.10.28 BETA

MYTVOnline 2 : 10.10.26 BETA

WARNING:

Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

If serious errors occur, please do factory reset.

Please keep in mind, this is Beta and could have also bugs or act unstable, it is for testing and not for productive use 24h with the box.

If you don`t want to test, please wait until official comes out. No Forum support in other threads if beta is in use, beta issues should be discussed only in this thread.

HowTo Install:

Home Menu -> Software Update -> press "1339" -> Red Icon and Beta Test SW appear (right corner) -> Press Red Button -> Firmware and Software are now shown, press "OK" button for install.

The install process and reboot works automatically! Please don`t turn off the box or plug out the power supply, could damage the box. The reboot after update needs always much longer than usual, please be patinate and let the box finish the install. If necessary reboot later once again.

Your issue with Error 7 is not update dependent, it is other reason. If you want, pm me, will look into it.

I still have the frames problem with afr on in order apps like viaplay and kpn tv.

When atf is off no problems but a picture quality thats not that good as it is on atf.

Mytvonline app no problems with afr on. When afr off the picture quality is also less

unfortunately the sunroud sound problem is not solved but on the other hand I find that the image quality is better

surround sound problem with different loudness at dd5.1 is not there when using Tivimate!

Does the volume fluctuate or it's different by channel/content?

Try to send logs and make a video that shows the exact procedure until MOL2 is closed. Were you able to see an error message?

Volume stays at the same Level on each channel and at each different sound Typ such as stereo or dd5.1. and can change volume on each different Typ audio with the formuler remote.

and this only while using Tivimate.

Why not possible in mol2?

So it has become worse instead of solved.

I was getting this error to, but after the BETA update, restore/reset the z10 pro max, and never saw the error again...

How do you restore after a full reset? The Z10 Pro Max still has no backup feature...

It doesn't. If the same channel shows black screen on GTV or Z8, it's the server. Z10 shows more information of the reason why the channel is not streaming. Let us know after you do some testing.

When I switched from the Z8 to the Z10 PRO MAX, on the first boot the image was completely shaking and the device rebooted after a while, and it was impossible to do anything. After knowing that the problem was not with the TV or the hdmi cable, I did a total reset using the button inside the jack, and from then on I never had problems again.

All this to say that probably the best thing you all with problems can do is the same.

Well said. The best is to not have any issues of course, but restart/resetting the device is recommended when you have an issue just like your phone, tablet, laptop, and so on.

I already reported in another topic that I was able to compare with the Z8 Pro where this issue was nonexistent. Same provider, same channels, same stalker portal, same setup. Z8 Pro channels without any problem, Z10 Pro Max 403 error with circle showing reloading/reconnecting without success. Have done a full reset of the Z10 Pro Max a week ago and reconfigured the box manually, not my favorite waste of time.. So I truly hope you guys can finally fix this a s I am sick and tired of being your guinea pig.

I have the Z10 pro max,

Almost every evening I must restart him because.

Or the channels are hanging or the box?

Also network problems by the channels the http.

I read a factory reset and a factory hard reset on the helpdesk pages, reset via the menu and hard reset via the jack but I’m nog shure, see the YT clip, I see more options on the screen, I did not reset the box myself because I have no problems for now.

i was wondering exactly the same as ive reset mine from menu and my problem is still there

This both factory reset methods are same (destructive = delete all data).

Menu method is if you have issues and need to reset, but the box works and are active.
The jack button reset like in the YouTube video is if the box have problems to start or boot.

In both cases it is only successful if after restart the install/setup procedure starts. If not, then was the factory reset not successful and need to be done again.

I know that all of us hate factory reset ,it costs only time to install and to set all again properly, but if you change so much through updates in Firmware and MOL2 but never reset the internal databases, are this maybe not always up to date. It should not happen but can! I see in my 24/7 tests very much and sometimes is resetting the best solution to have default settings in all areas and clean system.

Thanks SAM, I performed a factory rest via the menu last week. It made no difference in reloading certain channels (403 message) that on a Z8 Pro stream without any issue at the same time and identical setup.

Waiting for Formuler to have the same rugged software implementation on the Z10 as currently on the Z8 Pro. I’m done testing and will wait for Formuler to do their work properly.

Wrong thinking, because you put two different OS and player on same stage! I know you as user don`t care but what i try to explain is important to understand why this happens.

Android OS7 AOSP works different in many ways compared to OS10, esp. assignment of rights, security and messages (much more restrictive, thanks goes to Google ).

The Z8 pro MOL2 player doesn`t have the included and activated error messages but Z10 with newer player and OS10 have this. Therefore it is not visible on Z8 but Z10 shows this message. With this Beta the devs found fix for 4xx and if problem still exists then your sub have problems with provider token and session.

Once more. If one Channel on Z8 show black screen there is reason for this but the Z10 will show some error message 4xx or 5xx and not only black screen. What the error messages means can be found in internet if you search for Hypertext Transfer Protocols errors.

SAM as I explained before: both boxes, Z8 Pro and Z10 Pro Max realtime next to each orher, same provider, same setup, same channel: perfect stream and picture on Z8, error 403 on Z10.

Very strange and annoying: I just selected Reboot from the Main menu, Settings, Device Preferences, About…

And the box fully rebooted to factory default. Had to select language, time, network, location values.

Portal entries were gone, favorites were gone, but other option settings were kept, as well as other apps that I had installed…

So it was not fully reset to factory default setting…

SAM it is time to implement the backup and restore functionality quickly as the Z10

Pro Max (FLAGSHIP BOX OF FORMULER) is more and more the ugly duckling of the line-up. Please make the box worthy the label of Flagship product quickly, as it should have been that from the start, now already many months ago.
