  • Hi, my brand new GTV have issues in IPTV, even with MTOL2, XCIPTV or other player. I also tried EXO and VLC players inside XCIPTV and have the same issue.

I also tried 3 different iptv providers that plays great in other box or smartphone but laggy on GTV.

The first thing i do was to update the GTV to the latest version and the issue occur always from the beginning.

I am at shock because in the past i tried Z8 and Z10 and don't have any kind of issues like that.

What can i do to solve this?

    Thank you.

  • Test with other resolution, bigger buffer, AFR ON/Off. Would be nice to get detailed error description or video.

  • What is lagging exactly? The UI? Audio/Video lipsync issue?

    Need more details

  • Hi,

    This is how laggy https://we.tl/t-SF6XPw4Np8

This occur in every channel, HD or SD. Sometimes is starts immediately, sometimes it starts doing this after 2 or 3 seconds after changing channel.

The same IPTV list (tried 3 different providers) works well in other boxes, Formuler or not formuler.

The problem is not only limited to MYTVOnline2 in GTV, in other apps it occur the same.

The symptom shown in your sample video appears to be buffering. Check the buffer gauge in the on-screen display by pressing the info button and checking the top-right hand of the screen. Look for the symbol that looks like a signal reception bar and check how many bars of "signal" you have. If the bars are empty or near-empty, the problem you are facing is with buffering and there is nothing wrong with your Formuler device.

Buffering occurs for many reasons as outlined in the articles below:

    Common reasons you experience buffering:

    • Your Internet service provider (ISP) is blocking or throttling your connection
    • Your internet speed is too slow
    • Your internet connection with your IPTV service provider is not optimized

Sometimes using a VPN on your Formuler device can improve the connection.

To rule out your ISP as the problem, you can temporarily activate the mobile hotspot on your smartphone and connect your Formuler to your phone's wifi to see if the buffering goes away.
