I keep getting a "Download Failed" error when trying to update via OTA. Is there a way to update via USB? I hope I do not have to factory reset...fingers crossed.

Just touching base to see if the logs were received (mostly did I send them correctly). I am having some glitchy issues and hoping that getting the latest update my directly or indirectly resolve them.

No, seems update server need to be restarted, already reported to Formuler. Try tomorrow afternoon again to update.

Your logs weren't sent. Please try to reproduce the issue and send logs again. Make sure to reproduce the error again for the logs to record this issue.

I did steps 1-3. My provider says NOT to use a wifi connection. I do not have a VPN. I did not want to factory reset unless ABSOLUTELY necessary...that is when I started this thread.

Yes...Just checked again right now. Says there are 2 updates, click "Software Update" and immediately says "Download Failed".

Could you please reboot your box, go to update app start uodate and when thee download error appear after that send log file again? Please post tracking no. I will forward this tomorrow again.

I'll do it again...it will be the third time doing this and sending the log and the tracking number. You know what they say "3rd time is a charm".

OK...went to Home screen, went to Settings, went to About, went to Reboot, let it reboot. Went to Home screen, went to Updates, clicked it and got the "Download Failed" error again.
Sending logs again. :C05197Got a confirmation that the logs were sent successfully.

Are you still having this problem? Open Memory cleaner and delete cache and some apps. Reboot your box and see it helps

I am still having the problem. I did clean the cache via the Memory Cleaner. I removed a couple apps that I never really used. If you want me to remove specific apps, let me know and I will do so.

Hmmm, this is weird. Four months was on a business trip and arrived home just a couple of days ago, turned on my Z10 pro max and my box updated with no problems...

The devs will release a new version of the Software Update app this week. It may solve your problem.

A new version of the Software Update app was released. Open the Software Update app on the home screen of your device and it should auto-update the Software Update app version to v10.10.13
After that, click the "Start Upgrade" button inside the Software Update app to download and install the new software.
If you encounter any errors again, please post a photo of your TV screen that shows the error.

It did not...same result. The screen says "Update to 10.10.13-149-f73ee80" then under that says "Download Failed". The Software Update button on the home screen shows 2 updates (red circle with the number 2 in it)...its been that way for months now.

Please provide a video that shows the exact issue for further investigation. After you do the two above, try to factory reset your device manually following this video and check if the issue remains. -

Could you please do following, it`s worth a try: home menu->settings->apps->see all apps->Formuler Update->Force stop and than clear data and cache + uninstall updates.
Go to Market and update to latest version, try again with update.

I did try that a few weeks back. I tried it with a reboot after uninstalling and without a reboot...same results.
I will say, after performing the factory reset today, the updates seemed to happen successfully, I am in the process of adding back in my apps (youtube, twitch, studio optimizer, etc)...HOWEVER...as of right now the box is working better than ever. Seems snappier between menus and apps, I am getting more menu/schedule data in my IPTV...which was always an annoyance for me. So far, so good.

Yep...I think the factory reset fixed it. Sadly you lose all you data and info...wish there was a way to back all that up...HINT HINT Devs.
