I have doubled and triple checked All the settings, and everything is correct. I'm just not sure why I can record manually but when I use scheduled recording when the box is asleep, it doesn't wake up to do the recording.
It's just weird cuz when I have my z8 Pro, I had no issues at all, so I'm not sure if this problem is caused by the firmware update, or a fault with the Android box.
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Could be the server configuration. Check PM

From the Z10 pro ( max ) starts the problem every time he kicks the usb or the sd card out or he don’t recognize it also not after formatting.
And I tried a lot of things but nothing so far will help.

1. RE: scheduled recording not working

2. Format your usb device with ntfs on pc, connect then with the box and restart the box once. Start Mol2 ->Settings-> DVR Options and set your recognised usb device for recording or local timeshift. This is must have.
2a.
Set your recordings in settings to start earlier, 5 min. are enough.
3. Try to record your scheduled recordings over night, with turn off box and not in standby modus. In standby modus is Mol2 active and connected in background ( If MOL 2 not exited), provider cuts the connection after some time (idle, to save own resources), depends also from protocol. Stalker use in most cases after 3 hours.
With power off method, box restarts, mol2 starts and establish new fresh connection with provider and start to record.
This way all my Z8 and Z10 boxes act same and with successful sch. recordings. Of course from time to time happen some faulty recordings but this can be also the inet conn. or provider too.
This may not help solve your recording problem, but my Z10 Pro Max does do scheduled recording from 'standby'.
I can schedule a recording, power off (standby) the box and it will switch on and start recording as saved. I record across the network to a QNAP NAS box.

Why are recorded programmes only available when the recording timer schedule has finished on my Z8? It would be so nice to start to watch a programme from the start while the recording is still in progress. This option was available on my old E2 receiver.
Use local timeshift to watch from beginning if recording still in progress.
I'm having issues with scheduled recordings. I can schedule the recording no problem but when I go to view the recordings tab after the show has ended, it's not there.
I should mention that when I'm watching a show I can hit record and it records without issue. The problem is only with scheduled future recordings.

This only works when you have 2 lines from your provider!
If so, please read the thread "recording one channel while watching another", post#4 by SAM, its all explained there 
Try to delete all schedules and make manually one, this time not using epg.
I have a question. When i look at channel A and want to record channel B and the recird time begins, he puts me to channel B, when I switch to channel A again after a minute he sets me back on channel B. I am using Z10 pro. Is it not possible to look and record different channels?
Yes,it is possible but you need 2 lines with the z10pro.
