  • Hello,

If i restart/shutdown the Formuler Z10 Pro Max, MOL2 autostart and the portal does not connect if the connection is the Ethernet cable (message: still waiting for connection). To bypass, i have to close MOL2 and restart the application and it connects. There is no problem if you use wifi.

I have also the Formuler Z8 and this Ethernet problem does not exist (with the same Ethernet cable).

I saw there was a fix in the last update, but it didn't work.

I have already reset the box, activated or deactivated the ipv6 did not work, only works for the first time with Wifi.

    Thanks for your help

  • Hello,

how do you start your MOL2, with activated start up function or manual? Did you see any changes on the ethernet icon if some exclamation mark is visible?

Reason why i ask: If startup is activated , after reboot MOL2 start automatically and on some Box-Router configurations is the inet conn. not fully established, the connection with MOL2 and Provider will not work instantly. Please check the icon and ethernet connection. Turn off Private DNS in the Settings too and at IP-> dhcp , execute it once again.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your answers.

MOL2 is activated on start up.

I did several tests after your recommendations.

I turn off private DNS and reserved the ip address on my router, but it still doesn't work.

For me this is the Ethernet port that is not yet established.

The questions I ask myself, why during the 3 attempts to establish the connection, it does not succeed?

While I can at the first attempt return to home and restart MOL2 Manually and the connection is established.

But if it was my router, why isn't the problem on my Z8?

Thank you again for your help.

  • If not to much apps installed on the Z10 i would do factory reset again this way:

and connect completely different Ethernet cable, just to exclude the Ethernet port . Let at beginning the start up deactivated and test few days without.

  • yes, I used the same cable.

The reset has already been done, without solving.

    Wi-Fi is disabled.

Following your first messages, I put the ip in static and it works. But it's a workaround, as I would prefer to use in DHCP.

  • The router is for nothing, the problem only happens on the z10 and not on the z8 with the same and other cables.

No other device has the problem.

Why MOL fails to connect during the 3 attempts? Even if it was the router and a slow DHCP, the box should connect to the second or third? No, MOL needs to be closed and reopened for this to connect. We never question that it may be a box bug?
