    Hi, old problem here that keeps happening....

    I have bought several usb flash drives, 32gb, 64gb, 128gb, 256gb.... You named it!

    formated them using rufus, without rufus...

    Tryied everything...

    If I schedule two recordings, sometimes the first one is recorded correctly but the second one, (a few hours latter) is not recorded because in the mean time the box loses connection with the flash drive.

    Connection is also losed randomly even without any recordings scheduled.

    Already bought a USB 3 hub with external power supply but that doesn't seem to be the problem...

    Anyone has an idea??

    Never had any issues with my missed z8!

    Are the USB Flash drives the same as those which were working with the Z8? Are you using the USB3 port?

    You might want to try to format the USB flash drive as external storage in the main (Android) menu of the Z11. Don't know which format Android uses, however for me it works, records on the USB flash drive and plays back the recordings without any issues.

    By the way, the flash drive I am using is a Samsung Fit Plus 256 GB.

    Hi. Yes, I still have the z8 in a bedroom and the flash drives work perfectly in it.

    I formated them in rufus, with the Z11 menu... Everything I can think!

    I happens in the 2 usb. I have bought a ugreen usb 3 hub with external power supply thinking that it was lack of power but it was not...

    I also have both the Z11 PM and the Z8. I am curious to hear from you if formatting the drive in the Android menu as external storage works for you. Why not give it a try?

    I can format as external storage.

    The problem is that after a few days, sometimes just a few hours, if I try to record something it says no storage connected or if I plan more than 1 record it only record the first one because after it loses connection...

    Dont know if I make me understand...

    With z8 all works..

    i have the same problem with my z11 pro max. I have tried two different flash drives and both of them will disconnect frequently. Sometimes after an hour and sometimes after a day. It really ruins the recording/timeshift experience. This and not being able to use HDHomeRun with MyTVOnline 3 are the only issues I've had. This issue is really frustrating. I go to pause a show, nothing happens. I realize at some point flash drive disconnected. I have to close app and reopen it to get dvr functionality again which will only last for a short time.
