VPN will help because AT&T blocks your Provider. Nord VPN works good on Formuler boxes.

You can get it in formuler Market,i also recommend Nord VPN,its simple and works fine,although its not cheap 
The best way is (at least for VPN Apps) to downlaod the latest apk from their Homepage and sideload over USB Stick. VPN`s get very often updates, so be sure to install the latest one.
I don't have AT&T, so can't try it.......... but found this posted on another site
If you have AT&T INTERNET and are having issues with not being able to login, constant buffering, or invalid/expired error messages you need to follow these steps:
1️ Download the AT&T Smart Home Manager app
2️ Login to the smart home manager app
3️ Click profile tab at bottom far right
4️ Click on account and select ActiveArmor
5️ Select cancel service
*NOTE: You can reactive ActiveArmor at any time, it’s a free security service they offer.
