HI brad. I have the same issues with my new Z11 pro max. Does odd things that my 10 pro did not. The guide showing up on the left side. Turning it on after standby and the screen goes on and shows my app loads then drops after a long delay back to the main screen with the icons and I have to load again my app. I still have two Z10 boxes that work fine with the same app. Turned the box on at times and the led stays red. Already had an update so guess we will wait for the next.
Guides Are All "No Information" (Z11)

Could you all please also post each time which protocol is in use if No Information exist? This helps very much to understand what could be the reason + we should move to z11 forum and thread, since we speak about z11 and this issue.
Moved.

Will post detailed something tomorrow in this case. Sorry for delay. -
For about 3 weeks now I have had to update my EPG 3 times a day because every time the EPG does not provide any information in MOL 3, does anyone have a solution for this?

First, a brief description for better understanding, and then what can be done to ensure that the EPG data is displayed correctly.
As we all already know, using the Alternative EPG resolves the issue of No Information in the Stalker Protocol. However, here it's much easier with the Registered MAC Address and a simple URL.
With XC API, it's a bit different. Here, you either receive the XC Api url directly from the provider or extract it from an already received M3U URL. It's always crucial to use the correct URL for XC API. Even if it works, it doesn't necessarily mean it's complete or fully compatible.
There are standard URLs that Mol3 adheres to, but there are also those that have been greatly reduced or use a path unknown to MOL3, which cannot be resolved. However, this is very rare. Additionally, it can happen that there's an extra character in the URL that MOL3 can't load. It doesn't have to, but it can.
1. In this example, we're talking about standard URLs.
Example:
"Server: http://whatyouhave.xx.com:2000"
User:xxxx
Pass:xxxx
If you now have "http://whatyouhave.xx.com:2000", try with "/" at the end.
If you have "http://whatyouhave.xx.com:2000/", try without "/" at the end.
* Please ignore the " at beginning and end of the url.
If no port is available in the URL (:2000 or :80 or something else), please ask the provider for the port number and include it in your URL. Of course, it can also work without, but not all providers have the same standard, and since we don't know what our provider script wants and needs, we should try both options.
Important: Each change in the URL and click on update data, delete favorites, watchlist, etc. is the same as if you were creating the portal for the first time. Please always perform a backup beforehand.
2. The second important criterion for the EPG to be loaded and displayed correctly is the time and date:
Check if Automatic date & time is enabled and then check the displayed data.
Is the date correct?
Is the time correct?
Is the correct setting for GMT/time zone selected?
3. The latest firmware and software update should always be installed.
4. From time to time, it is also recommended to clear the cache of MOL3 -> home menu -> settings -> apps -> see all apps -> MYTVOline 3 -> Clear cache. In some cases, even clear data if it's not working at all, be careful, data in MOl3 will be deleted. Please always perform a backup beforehand.
5. Correct EPG offset setting, if in use.
6. Mol3 menu -> content manager -> data sync -> epg data -> clear and update epg + refresh content.
7. Also very important and should set properly: Content Manager -> Content Sources -> your sub. -> Edit -> EPG update Interval (If you have issues to get EPG set it to 3 hour)
Also important for understanding. The Main EPG (from where the No Information comes) and Single EPG are not same, this are two different EPG`s.
This all of course if everywhere is "No Information" shown and main EPG empty.
Please try the described steps.

SAM - I believe that I found my problem. There is a "EPG Update Interval" setting that appeared in the Portal Settings.. Very strange.. I believe it was moved in the last update released for the Z11 ProMax. I have setup many of these boxes and never saw this setting before. You won't see the setting during the setup of the Portal, only after it's setup. I went into the "existing" Portal - Edit - "EPG Update Interval" was OFF. I set it to 18 hours.. Problem appears to be solved.. I hope this helps others..

I am positive that the Z11 ProMax EPG update frequency settings was in the Data Sync section, prior to an update..
I still wonder.. Why this setting is not shown when setting up the portal? Only when editing the portal..

BRAD's solution was good, I did it as he described and the EPG has now been up to date for 24 hours, thanks BRAD for the solution

Hi, i've been following these threads with interest as i've recently had the same problem. I was going to post the same as Brad in that my "EPG Update Interval" was set to "none" and i'm certain that i never touched that setting - i've only had the box for 3/4 weeks. Perhaps the most recent software update changed it?
When i was following SAM's useful guide above i spotted the "EPG update interval" setting and switched it back on and this (along with Point 6 in SAM's guide) seemed to be the ones that fixed the EPG no information issue.I now have EPG information on about half my channels. There is an oddity with my system were if i have multiple versions of the same channel (e.g. SD, HD and UHD) i only get EPG information for one of the versions, usually the basic one and the other channels simply state "no information" in the EPG. However i think this is a supplier issue as i don't seem to find any options or anything online which links to that problem.
-
That's right, it depends on your provider what kind of EPG signal it sends, it is usually the HD channels, the UHD and 4K 8K 16K are not
-
I had the problem that all my channels showed no information, so I checked the reccomedation to remove the "/" from the end of the url and that worked now I have epg for most channels.
however the really "BIG" problem is that you can not carry over all your favorite settings, the easiest way to solve this in my opinion is not to save the url in the backup, I guess that some of the favorites would restore properly from the backup because of probable changes of server, but same provider most channels etc. would match.
It can take a really long time to build your favorite list.
