Just install plex from playstore.
And then follow instructions andthere should be somewere a option to commect with pc or so.
Check google how to set it up. But if it work on a shield you say, think that it also work with a z11 pro max.
I use no plex. But have a nas.

Plex from market (formuler) works incredible good
I wish MOL 3 could implement Plex User/Pass.

I've had Plex User running for more than 5 years (Z10, then Z11) with no issues.

I have issue where I have movies which are 7.1 true audio. So they don’t direct play onto z 11 pro max. Any work around?
